Public toilets should have springs that cause the seat to stay UP unless you push it down. That will take care of all the women who hover over the seat and spray piss everywhere because they dont' want to sit on it, but still can't be bothered to put it up either.

Obviously, the sign is stupid. But even if you consider whether the sign will actually help or not, it won't. Many men won't raise the seat if it starts down, meaning it will get pissed on far more than if it is up. So not only is it a stupid, discriminatory stance, but it will accomplish the exact opposite of what they want for women.

Here's the thing, and I've thought this for years; are they talking about the lid and everyone is getting confused?

Hear me out - closing the lid to flush the toilet just makes hygienic sense. The idea of putting the seat down for women is dumb as it's the same as having to lift the seat for a bloke, whatever, just fucking make the toilet useable for whatever it is you're doing.

But I go back to the original point - do they (women the entire time) mean to close the lid for hygiene? If so then yeah, makes sense, or do they actually mean to prepare a toilet for their use? If so they can fuck right off

...is this really a men's issue? A downed seat can be used by women and men, whereas a raised one can only be used by men. Therefore putting down is the most useful to both genders.
