I introduced a friend of mine to the concept of Schrodinger's rapist.. this was his response.

Also technically true. Plus, when thought of as Schrodinger's criminal, it becomes apparent that at once everyone should be afraid, and yet no one should be because fear is a waste of mental energy. Continuing the analogy, the article is obviously offensive in the extreme, as is easy to illustrate in that the same argument could be recast as Schrodinger's prostitute. Lastly, the argument actually it isn't true at all. Schrodinger's cat is both alive and dead until measured, when it is one or the other. A man is not both a rapist and not a rapist until measured. He is one or the other independent of anyone's views on the topic. So is a woman for that matter."

Tumblr users tend to describe themselves with the word "insane" or some specific disorder listed in the DSM IV (seriously).

For the age, certainly most are 16-22. That's actually the behavior of some 8-11 year-old girl, but -as I've said already- there seems to be an epidemic of immaturity nowadays.

I've been thinking about this for some time, and I've come to the conclusion that there's nothing really wrong with feminists/feminist-influenced women/narcissistic women on an individual level, IF there was some way for men to easily recognise them. I think balloons would work - they're highly visible and non-permanent. Women who espouse this kind of thinking should be legally forced to walk around with a red helium balloon tied to their wrist, which says on it 'WARNING - Exposure to this women may cause damage due to her being mad as a box of wasps'. I'm not entirely sure yet how this would be enforced, but I'm just putting it out there.

I'm certainly not denying that this author reads like they have a significant sized chip on their shoulder, but the lesson here isn't "don't introduce yourself to strangers", it's "read the body language (and direct messages) and respond appropriately".

If there's one thing I wish this movement, and it's followers, would get through their collective heads is "facts only". Or, No feels, only reals if you prefer.

Disclaimer: I have not read the book I'm assuming this is from (I just saw it was an excerpt), so I'm not making any claims to the rest of this piece of work... Only to this Tumblr blog post.

... its easy to make an unsubstantiated slur with a catchy turn of phrase. But it doesn't add anything to reality.

Women live in this constant awareness that they could be raped, it is a part of being a woman. This is a naturally inherited survival mechanism but Feminists claim this feeling is created by male "rape culture".
