I'm a nurse and had to watch it be done to a baby boy and it made me sick, definitely changed my mind forever. I always figured I'd let my husband decide since I don't have a penis so what would I know, but after seeing that I couldn't have it done to my hypothetical kid.

Im cut. Had to fight and stand my ground for my son to not be cut. Like why would you cut off 1/2 your genitals sensitivity voluntarily? You wouldn't. For those old studies about it being "cleaner" is like getting an ostomy because it is cleaner for your asshole instead of learning to wipe it.

I'm in the same boat, 100% agree. It's really awful what was done to us. Would never, ever inflict that on another person.

I am not really sure about circumcision causing less sexual pleasure but regardless of that it's genital mutilation with absolutely no benefits and the choice should be left with the child after he reaches adulthood.

My body my choice right guys? Oh wait, nevermind. Sure is great when you against your will get something removed for some stupid ass reason that's barely an argument. 80 fucking percent? I can't even imagine that at all. This isn't even talked about as much as anything concerning a woman's body is it? Like I'm not Jewish, I don't have medical conditions, so why? Even with the religion thing that's not much of a reason to do it. What's even worse is, I was with a girl once, her family was christian and she had a little brother, not sure how old but single digits. And they for some reason didn't decide until that point when he was old enough to be aware something was different about his body to get it done. Where's the justification in that? A kid too young to decide what he wants is still ok to force it onto? What's the obsession?

Circumcision is a good thing. I’m glad I got circumcised as an infant. I don’t know where you’re getting this 80% from, but it is definitely false that 80% of sexual pleasure comes from the foreskin.

I'm not and at the gym, most are in towels or briefly nude and some are and some aren't. I live in a diverse area so I don't think he would notice or care if he isn't either. Most are happy with what is on themselves.

Oh there is something we can do. It just about timing because what we can technically and legally about this may cause a crisis but there is a way to really stick it to everybody trust me

I got circumcised at in my late 20’s, I will say the sensitivity decreased, but I have found my “orgasms” are more intense (mayor difference that I noticed), I wish I could have kept my hood, but I was having problems and need it gone. That being say, yes it should be to “baby’s” decision when he’s old enough to take it, it should not be up to the parents.
