I think this is such a bullshit position considering men are the ones who are way more opressed then women in most contexts and in most places around the world yet men don't get the same leeway if they ever say that they hate women because they're frustrated at their opression.

The ridiculous part is hate of men for systemic abuse and violence is predicsted on obsolete and debunked studies, wrongly claiming men commit over 80% of violence... when thats incredibly far from the truth.

Women who say they hate men are really just suffering an inferiority complex. They look around and all they see and enjoy are things designed, built and maintained by men. Women really haven’t contributed much to evolving society, all of the innovation and achievements are by men, so they invent this narrative that if men weren’t so mean and oppressive to them then they would have achieved just as much. But that isn’t actually true, because women aren’t wired to create and innovate the same that men are. It’s the reason why virtually every leader in every field is a male.

Not to discredit womens overall value to society; theyre just not very good at building things and progressing society. They do make a damn good sandwich though

No. Using “history” and “oppression” as a justification to hate is what low IQ, miserable people do. Sure, and from Hitler's perspective hating the Jews was also justified by a history informed by his ideology. It's a bit of a self reinforcing delusion, isn't it? Making up a post-hoc narrative structure that frames history as oppressive and then using that to justify hate is itself an expression of hate. Hate had to come first, so logically the story that was designed to rationalize hate can't reasonably be used to justify it.

Second, even if you accept their narrative framing of history as factual, no woman today suffers due to historic oppression. We've over-corrected so much they are actually beneficiaries of the oppression story. No teen girl today hates men or feels frustration because of historical oppression. She was never oppressed and the system has been designed from the time she was born to put her needs first. Nor should she hate men today for that historical oppression as they did themselves did nothing to oppress women. Yet, young women today have a hatred of men that exceeds any of the older generations. It's not based on any oppression, system issues, or actual trauma. It's based purely on ideology and propaganda.

As for systemic frustration, western women are the most privileged group of people in history. Women are given first priority and massive advantages from the moment they are born, throughout grade school, college/university, and into their career. If they hit a bump in the road of life like a divorce, or having legal trouble, or facing homelessness, or having financial issues then they face far less severe consequences than men.

By any measure men have the right to be frustrated by 'systemic' issues. Due to policy and changes made within our lifetime, boys and men have become severely disadvantaged in every public institution, vilified and denigrated in the cultural sphere, have had fraternal spaces demonized and shuttered, and face far worse outcomes. Yet even expressing frustration or bringing up issues faced by boys and men today is met with derision and hostility. If your friend believes women are justified to hating men for an oppression that happened one hundred years ago, do men have the right to hate women for an oppression happening now?

there is I believe a litmus test for this

ask that person to rephrase the hatred statement that has been said and substitute the group

so start with "its ok for women to hate men" and change the target to

its "ok for women to hate jews, muslims, LGBT, black, hispanic, asian etc"

if that test fails for any reason at all, then the original claim of its ok for women to hate men fails..

last time I look - hatred of a group was considered discrimination because membership of a group is a protected characteristic( regardless of whether the law is enforced on this)
