How do we properly respond this kind of discourse? I'm still navigating through non mainstreamed data (mainly from researches I found here - by the way, thanks for everyone who contributed!) but this idea never felt right to me. How's the same group who claim to be in favor of equality also the same group who thinks they're doing a great job on dealing with gender roles and stereotypes by constantly saying they think men are pigs/useless/savage/beasts and all this stuff? Aren't them the same people who say that even jokes are harmful and reinforce stereotypes?

I still have to check data about things like women being as violent as men (varying from physical violence in relationships and rape — the latter often having lots of cases being disconsidered), the main difference being that most of them simply aren't being caught

On a similar note, where do I find more non mainstreamed data? It feels like there's a ton of data whenever it's about victimized women but not so much whenever it's about men. I know it doesn't mean men aren't oppressed since the lack of evidence doesn't exactly mean lack of evidence
