OP, thank you for posting this. I get your point, but as we all know, men up lift society. As MRA's we should uplift each other; because, as OP points out, we are often cut down as men and our contributions ignored or forgotten.

This is a horrible devastation that really has few rivals (none that I can think of off the top of my head). Yet here we have so many men moving in on the spaces that are unsafe, in cold temperatures that are unsafe, and overall just risking their lives to see if they can by chance save another.

This is masculinity. This is what it means to step forward when others run backwards. While OP is clearly pointing out the positives of male behaviors and masculinity, we need to turn a deaf ear to anyone who might attempt to bring light to the brave acts of these men for their own means and gains. Reality is being pointed out here. That reality is that men will do what is needed when its needed. Its high time thanks be given where thanks needs to be.
