I knew a guy who was getting divorced. His wife not only knew she wasn't going to be a good parent, she had no intention of being one. She wanted custody for the child support with the intention that she was going to "dump" the kids on the dad after the divorce and support order. He would have taken the kids.

I told him to force her to take the kids. All of a sudden her work schedule wouldn't allow her to watch the kids and all her baby sitters only watched them once or twice. After that, she stopped fighting for custody and let him have them.

A lot of moms are shitty parents too. The thing is it doesn't come to light until something bad happens to the kids.

My wife admits she’s lazy and doesn’t want to take care of our son and if we got divorced she just says her mom would do it so she can go back to her “normal” life. I would totally lose custody battle and it’s just bizarre.

Pffft how would that person know if fathers aren't good parents to their kids after a divorce/separation.. dads don't get a chance to have custody and raise their kids most of the time... both my parents were garbage so I can tell you it doesn't only apply to men.

Saw this the other day and wanted to roast the commenter so bad but other people did it for me. My husband's mother abandoned him flat out because he became inconvenient. His father did his damndest to raise him with the help of his mom and sister. Worked overseas to make enough money to support him only to find out his new wife mistreated his son while he was away. Not all women are nurturing or caring towards children. I'm glad women are becoming mature enough to recognize I'd be a shitty parent please just sterilize me. Not every deadbeat is a father. That's just what's advertised. I wouldn't leave my child's side for the 1st 6 months. I cried when we moved her to her crib cause she was too far away. We need to go back to teaching women to be motherly again.

There was a divorce attorney in Oklahoma who was arrested for banging the children of the women he'd represent. Like, child support ended up being way more important than protecting their 5 year old daughters, I guess.

Mothers aren't always the right choice for custody. However, it isn't that the judges are seeing through the lies of men. It's the judges going after that title IV-D money.
