In the nursing field men don't get any special handouts. In fact I got a lot of pushback. I faced discrimination trying to get a critical care job with my manager stating I "needed more experience" yet a woman hired at the same time with me was able to get in. I waited a year and was still told I "need more experience". I had to switch hospitals to get a critical care job.

When men face discrimination no-one cares.

The truth is, there are actually more women in STEM than there are men. Females/feminists focus on engineering and comp sci as if that is all there is to STEM, but health and behavioral sciences are also STEM and the ratio of females to male in those fields are so high they outweigh the opposite ratio in the male-dominated fields.

It’s because everyone is pushing for girls in STEM subjects and they’re perfectly happy to leave the lads behind so long as they get to feel good about themselves.

That’s why I’m not fond of the whole woman in STEM thing, I want loads of people in STEM, every kind of person who can think critically ought to be encouraged a little. The idea that girls are held back from those fields is an exceedingly rare occurrence, more often are whole groups of children held back because of monetary issues.

By actively going for women in STEM, you’re not actually increasing the number of women going into the field compared to the same push across the board, all you’re doing is limiting the number of lads who get encouraged into these critical fields.

Edit: I can’t disparage the push too much, since I’m grateful for any STEM push, but it is a little misguided and ultimately doesn’t benefit the young girls much more than a complete STEM push would

Men's orgs need to start going after these programmes. Like Prof. Mark Perry does.

Feminists dont allow boy only programmes so we shouldn't have girl only free programmes.

If you set up a boys reading program Feminists would be in with seconds to take it to court.

Should go both ways. End of.( Racial minority boys or low income wiuld have an excellent case in court)

It is like this for votech/trade schools now as well. Around 4 years ago my (now ex) gf wanted to sign up for our local votech to do the welding program. I'm a career cnc machinist so I told her that was a great move as learning a trade like that would level her up in life. She enrolled and got BOMBARDED with women's scholarships. She got the entire welding program paid for via scholarship. Just for shits and gigs, I enrolled there and put my occupation as unemployed, showing interest in the welding program. ZERO scholarships or offers. 🤔

That’s a great question. Society, do you mind answering why the government sees fit to ensure the success of a female who bleeds 12 weeks a year should and misses one week a month do to her toxic boyfriend who beats her should be more successful than a man who is going to show up everyday regardless of the situation….. mmmm maybe if these women were to start making better decisions with their lives I can see helping them. But someone who destroys their lives and blames white people or men because of their short comings, is in fact a piece of shit and doesn’t deserve to be successful in the least.
