Poe's law? Not sure if this a serious post. :)

The best response I can think of for kind of idiocy is this video.
[–]jaywan1991 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I agree with the speaker of this video but the way she says "Iranian" bugs me. My roommate in college was from Iran and he always told me its pronounced "E-raw-n" not "I-ran".

The irony of this comment is astounding. Here we are watching a video about how Western feminists completely ignore huge problems in favour of minor bullshit and you're completely ignoring a huge problem... in favour of minor bullshit.

"Rape culture" is when you are so infatuated with the idea of being a victim of rape that you pretend every benign thing is analogous to rape.

Feminism was never about equality, it would have never been called feminism if it was. And, even if you were to accept the completely one-sided misportrayal of civilization they painted for themselves in the past, feminism would still have stopped being about equality the second that they decided to fabricate and prioritize ridiculous issues like these, instead of continuing to fight against all the bigger issues they are currently ignoring because they primarily affect men.

Feminism in the US hasn't been about equality for quite some time.
Feminism in the US has never been about equality.
At it's best, it was about equal rights. But it was never about equal responsibilities. From it's beginning it was a female supremacy movement... it's just harder to hide that fact now.

That's a pretty ridiculous thing to say.
If feminists are female supremacists because they'd like to vote and avoid legally being fondled in the workplace, what does that make you?
EDIT: I'm not saying feminists are right. I'm just saying they had a legitimate reason to exist in the first place. They've clearly overstayed their welcome and are clearly pushing for preferential treatment in a world that already treats women as precious commodities, but it wasn't always like that. That's all I'm saying.

If feminists are female supremacists because they'd like to vote
Because they want the right of voting while avoiding the responsibility of conscription.
That is supremacy (equal rights without equal responsibilities), not equality.

Plenty of academies offer masters in HR though. If you want a good HR job I'd expect you are trained for it. I think the trick here is to spread the fact that women are taking less dangerous jobs than men, and yet trying to weasel out more money than men. And at the same time not bash on teachers and HR managers.

I would personally employ someone with a political sciences background. I am not to judge the degree or the institutions that offer them, such as Lanchester. My point is that it is unreasonable to trash other peoples career just because they are not dangerous enough.
[–]Gengaar -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Pretty much most major colleges offer HR degrees honestly. A few of my friends in college were HR majors. Plenty of males in there as well.
[–]Waylandyr 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, I'm currently getting my degree in hr.... And I'm male.

That sauce isn't even particularly hot. But I guess it could tear up the sphincter of a neophyte Taco Bell customer. Probably wouldn't ask, either.

Is there a place in the world where they're actually called "sauce pockets"?
[–]farkface 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Holy shit I saw this at Taco Bell and thought, "Boy, wouldn't it be funny if someone on Tumblr or something compared this to rape?" The Internet never fails me.

"You asked for it" = "Customer satisfaction".
All the femorons complaining about that needs to learn some basic business skills.....so they can go work the street corners.

Wait, what?
[–]xxganjamastaxx 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Taco bell diablo sauce now supports rape?ok.
[–]baserace 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Most probably not really.

I think the best thing for SJWs is a concrete pit and a pack of starving wolves.
[–]andejoh -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So now giving someone what they ask for is raping them? When no one can consent, everything is rape.
[–]fuckinhell -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Jesus fucking christ.
