I think Will doesn't want his money split in half and therefor stays.... It's on him, he has all the money in the world to find real help unlike many other men. I don’t feel bad for Will Smith, but he can’t come back since they banned him for 10 years. People says he has money, but that can dwindle very fast as a celebrity. I’m hoping he gets a divorce as soon as possible, but California laws may screw him over.

Then there’s that video that resurfaced where you can obviously see Will being very uncomfortable. Honestly, I hope he gets the divorce and focuses on himself. Will Smith, Johny Depp,.. there is a pattern here. But it's more than just inviting the wrong woman in to your life. With Will Smith, it's really clear, he is still dealing with his own past traumas and as such has abdicated his role of taking control of his relationship with Jada. At the end of the day, most women resent having to wear the pants in a relationship, and if you put them in that position, they will destroy you.
As for Jada, she has become the type of woman of which the men that can handle her don't want to deal with her, and the men that do want to deal with her can't handle her. Will falls in the latter category. If he could handle her, he would have left her by now.

There seems to be very little sympathy, or indeed empathy, for Will Smith in this thread which I find pretty depressing. Especially considering the purpose of this sub.

The man was brought up by an abusive, narcissistic father and has married a narcissistic woman. His trauma has never had the chance to heal.

His religion (Scientology) forbids him to separate from her, so to get away from her he would have to leave Scientology and that ain't easy! And that's without any form of Stockholm Syndrome.

People seem to think that his oodles of money somehow protects him, which it plainly doesn't because his pain is plain to see.

In fact, she would take him to the cleaners financially even if he could leave her, and he would almost certainly not get access to his children at the level he wants.

She has done almost everything possible to emasculate him, from the abuse around her Red Table Talk project, to declaring an 'open marriage' which he doesn't seem happy with, yet most (even here) call him a 'cuck' and are advising that he 'man up'! As though any of that would do anything but make him feel worse and more isolated.

He is plainly an emotionally and mentally abused and damaged man, and how anyone can expect someone who's mind isn't working properly to think properly, is beyond me! How can you think straight when your head is full of poison, which in his position it almost undoubtedly is?

This whole discussion is about a man in a horrible place in his life. In this sub, of all subs, I didn't expect him to get the kicking he is getting.

Jada is certainly abusive but I also blame Will for not kicking her ass to the curb 2 decades ago. Instead he's now stuck with a toxic mother to his kids, and a steadily dying career. I'll be honest I've always had a creepy feeling from Jada, all the way back to her matrix days when she was a dominating blowhard in her role.

There are letters of his daughter writing to Pac. Willow never met Pac... Yet she knows about him and knows that Jada loves him. Jada obviously told the daughter stories about the man and it isn't Will.

There are videos of Jada and her mother giving Will a condescending and disgusted look while Will talks about how much planning he had to do for Jada's birthday.

She openly says she wishes they had an open relationship. (They don't) It was an excuse to attempt to lighten that she had an "entanglement," aka cheated.

When Will assaulted Chris, women were defending him and saying he should defend his wife. (Seriously, assaulting a man over a joke is cool with many women). Jada then said that she isn't a woman that needs defending. This completely invalided what Will did and made it even more shameful.

There are many things a relationship should and should not be and their marriage is some of the worst. Will is a "nice guy." If Jada treated many other guy with this much abuse and disrespect I believe it could even have gotten violent.

But then maybe that's the type of relationship she wants. Jada likes the thug and rap and street type guys.

Will grew up with an abusive narcissist father. He then ends up with a narcissist woman like Jada. Is he having built up anger? Hell yes. He saw his mom being beated up over and over but was too scared to defend her. He's beating himself up over it to this day. The reason why he acted out on Rock is because Rock attacked a woman for her insecurities. Will will never allow anyone to do that if he's present, he's compensating for his traumas and it's wrong and dangerous and he needs help and he should find a way to be able leaving Jada. But he loves his kids, he's afraid she'll get custody.

I read on Wikipedia (not sure if it’s reliable source or not so please correct me if I’m wrong) that Will had also had sexual relationships outside of marriage. From my understanding, it seems they had an open marriage. However. Jada is still a piece of shit, and you can see how humiliated and devastated he was about the “entanglement” Will obviously isn’t happy and needs to leave.

Don’t feel bad for cuck smith at all he has had PLENTY of opportunity in leaving that marriage already. He is a self made multi million dollar actor so do not think for a second he cannot divorce his wife. He is choosing this “open” marriage just as much as that pig Jada is. It goes both ways
