It's the most sensitive parts of the penis.

Fine-touch pressure thresholds in the adult penis

The glans of the circumcised penis is less sensitive to fine touch than the glans of the uncircumcised penis. The transitional region from the external to the internal prepuce is the most sensitive region of the uncircumcised penis and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised penis. Circumcision ablates the most sensitive parts of the penis.

it's no way the same as a clitoris or other female genitalia.

The foreskin (male prepuce) is homologous to the clitoral hood (female prepuce). Removal of the clitoral hood is Type Ia FGM. The foreskin is larger, more innervated, and more functional than the clitoral hood.

All harmful procedures to the female genitalia for non-medical purposes are classified as FGM, even pricking or piercing without removing any tissue.

The procedure itself is absolutely a problem. Pretending it isn't is incredibly counter productive to the cause of keeping those blades the fuck away from infants. I would never in a million years even consider getting circumcised if it wasn't forced on me. It's a highly destructive procedure with roots in sexual control, harming boys, and destroying sensitivity and function.

John Harvey Kellogg is the origin of circumcision in America.

Similarly with regard to circumcision, one of the reasons for it is, in my opinion, the wish to bring about a decrease in sexual intercourse and a weakening of the organ in question, so that this activity be diminished and the organ be in as quiet a state as possible.

The effect of male circumcision on sexuality.

There was a decrease in masturbatory pleasure and sexual enjoyment after circumcision, indicating that adult circumcision adversely affects sexual function in many men, possibly because of complications of the surgery and a loss of nerve endings.

Women reported they were significantly more likely to have experienced vaginal dryness during intercourse with circumcised than with genitally intact men

Some anecdotes of men cut as adults:

sight without color would be a good analogy [...] There are feelings you'll just never have without the foreskin.

Those who were circumcised as infants cannot imagine what pleasurable sensations were destroyed at the outset.

This is so patently false that it pains me. Here is a link on circumcision from UpToDate which is the gold standard for evidence based clinical practice. This is not just a paper. The whole site is platform for providing summaries of the most up to date research on diseases, treatments, and procedures. These are not rare diseases (UTI?? Herpes?? HPV??, are you kidding me...) As for not addressing sexual dysfunction- "The prepuce contains specialized sensory tissue that is removed during circumcision. Some men believe that the end of the penis becomes less sensitive when the foreskin is removed and that sexual sensation may be decreased. However, most circumcised males do not describe psychological trauma or decreased sexual function or desire as a result of the procedure."

YES RARE. It says in your link those are rare. If there weren't, there would be an epidemic in Europe of these problems and there isn't. To top it off, Europe has a lower rate of std's than cut happy America.

Because the alternative to being grateful you're circumcised is being angry at your parents for placing your perfect newborn body into a circumstraint, having half the skin of your penis clamped, cut off and sold for a profit all without your consent.

You have no idea just how much skin you're missing. Imagine doubling the amount of shaft skin you have.

Your circumcised penis is instantly thicker.

You now have the "gliding action" and can move the skin of your penis up and down with ease.

It makes penetration into the vagina easier. The penis becomes a well oiled machine instead of a broomstick.

Your glans is protected by your foreskin, no more chaffing against underwear.

The foreskin controls the ejaculation reflex. When those nerves are severed it can either take too long to orgasm or orgasm too quickly. Intact nerves mean more control over orgasm.

It's one big "FUCK YOU" from your parents that you will have to live with the rest of your life.

They would be horrified to cut the genitals of a daugher but they wanted their sons to have part of their penis cut off for "health benefits" or "to look like dad" or "so they won't be made fun of". All bullshit. UTIs are more common in girls yet we don't advocate labial cutting. Vaginas are dirtier yet we don't advocate labial trimming.

Men are treated like second class citizens from birth on and it's bullshit.

Not only that, you can hear the screams of newborn boys in the nursery at around 7AM when the OBGYNs do their rounds and circumcise boys in the morning.

You can be standing in the hallway and hear their screams quite clearly. I would imagine the OB floors on the west coast don't have as many screams in the morning.
