So there's a lot of talk recently about PUA tactics etc. However, stemming from that is chatter on how "men just want women as objects". And how men need to stop "treating women like an object" or a "warm hole".

The truth is, this is a huge misinterpretation of "objectification". The point of an object is that it cannot consent nor refuse anything. It exists as a thing. It does not have opinions about others or what others do to it.

When sex is consensual for both parties. It can never be objectification. Any such attempt to call a form of consensual sex objectification is just incorrect. People that insist on this usually are not of the opinion casual sex is wrong, or else they would criticize the sex. It seems people that are really harping about objectification are the type of people that maybe have some double standards about men.
