Vaguely creepy Oedipal connotations aside, I think it goes to show that TRP's concept of "the wall", while it has some truth to it, goes to show that it is quite a bit more malleable than they let on.

TRP claims that men can be attractive well into their 40s and on if they exercise, eat right, make money, keep up after themselves, perhaps get some tasteful procedures done, and all that. Again, I get that. And I believe it. But they never really seem to let on that women can do the exact same thing and they keep going on and on about how women are used up at 30. I've never seen anything posted to the sub that shows what a well maintained woman looks like.

I mean, I don't even need to preface that and say "she's hot for a 60 year old". She's just hot. She can probably compete with women half her age. Yes, she's aged, despite everything. But even those hot older men that TRP talks about are still aged versions of their younger selves.

And while this is an uncommon occurrence, it's also not the only one I've seen. I know more than a few women well past their 40s that look just as good. It takes a tremendous amount of effort, I know, but one of the mindsets of TRP is: uncommon effort for uncommon reward. Which is admirable, and makes sense. But I'm no longer convinced that it applies only to men.

tl;dr: "The wall" of poor living applies to both genders pretty equally and both genders can stay equally hot if the proper lifestyle changes are made.
