You see this advice thrown around all the time,
"Just focus on your hobbies, exercise, become a better version of yourself, become more social, become spiritual" and so on....
Well, I've done this. I've taken most of this advice, but I think there's a fundamental problem with it at the end of the day.
No matter how "improved" I am personally, there's still something missing that's pretty damn important to human emotions and development. And that's a companion. No matter how accomplished I am in my career, how many social clubs I'm a member of, no matter how passionate I am about my hobby, I'm still forced to go out to eat alone, still lying in bed alone with no one to talk to, still feeling "defective" because so many people can find a person to love them, and I simply can't.
If you're stuck with bad genetics, it generally makes little difference how accomplished or social you are, because women will simply find a mate who is just as accomplished who has better genetic qualities.
Generally this "self-improvement" and development stuff is promoted by people who have never struggled to find romantic relationships and have no idea how debilitating it can be to a human's psyche. When you're love-starved and touch-starved, it hurts. Scientific studies have correlated this kind of depravation with physical pain, it activates the same neuro-transmitters. I'm just so tired of feeling like a failure and a loser because of this one thing that life will not allow for me. And quite frankly I think it's insulting to give this advice to others who are struggling. There are tons of people who don't do any of this hobby and self-improvement crap, they go to work, come home, then watch Netflix and cuddle with their SO.

That's the point, I almost think self deletion is preferable because is the primary goal of biological humans not to pass on their genes?

What are you actively doing to find a potential partner and what are the qualities that you are looking for?
