For anyone arguing about the inaccurate usage of the word: I think its beyond obvious to all of us that red pill has some crazy lingo. Dread game doesn't specifically refer to the emotion of dread, nor hamster to rodents.

But IMO, most of the words do still refer to sensible, practical meanings.

Sometimes words have more than one meaning. I can think of shit ton of them, this is not an uncommon occurrence.

Indeed, which is why in any discussion it is helpful if not necessary to establish what definition of a word you are working off of. Otherwise the most common (in context) usage is assumed, and here that means the philosophical one.

On that note, TRP is a philosophy, or at least has philosophical elements, so your snide additude is completely unwarranted; why wouldn't one assume the philosophical usage is intended?

As a final remark, your definition of solipsism actually fits TRP especially well. After all, what is the Red Pill but a strategy meant to maximize fulfillment of your sexual desires without much regard for others' wants or needs? That is certainly an egotistic behavior, I would say.

Regarding "female solipsism", I'm going to copy paste what I wrote earlier :

Let's try to start again. TRP doesn't say "solipsism". TRP says "female solipsism". There is a stark difference between the two terms. The core of TRP is that there is a neurological difference between the two sexes that greatly impacts the sexual selection and intersex competition. Men prefer X type of behaviour from women, while women prefer Y type of behaviour from men. It's as simple as that. There is also a lot of gender neutral characteristics, but those are irrelevant now. "Female solipsism" means that because you are a woman who is hardwired to think like a woman, you will never be able to fully empathize with men. Likewise, there also exists "Male solipsism", but that one is rarely talked about and for a good reason. Think of it this way, you don't know how getting punched in the balls feels. You can understand that it hurts somehow, you can even visualize it, but you can't ever understand it properly. This physical "solipsism" is then expanded to cover this similar ideas.

Female solipsism isn't a slur for anything a woman does. It is when a woman does not comprehend why X is such a big deal for men, and it is only upon further reflection that she understands it. Think for example, paternity tests. Usually, when a man asks for a paternity tests, then you have all the stuff like "oh wow you don't trust me" and similar bullshit - a woman would rather damn the man to not knowing if the child is his out of hurt feelings. They don't "understand" why this is such a big deal.

Perhaps the "paternity test" stuff is a bit inaccurate, so I'll add one more which hits much closer to home :

Consider the friendzone and foreveralone memes. They are basically male only. TRP chalks it up to an innate neurological difference between how men and women perceive sex. Thus, a woman can't really understand the friendzone, nor can the man every understand the fuckzone (the female equivalent of friendzone, or in TRP terms plate spinning).

Put in this terms, male solipsism is only the extension of sex solipsism and the counterpart to the female solipsism. Yeah, it's pretty silly to deny male solipsism if you acknowledge female solipsism. It's even sillier to claim that there isn't one. I've yet to see a TRPer who does that. Are those two "solipsisms" equal? Nope - because of the very reason we can differentiate between female and male solipsism. But they are somewhat equivalent.

So if you really want to debate "female solipsism" as a valid axiom, you don't debate how it's offensive to women - a lot of stuff is offensive but true. You debate that the very gender difference which makes the core of TRP and subsequently the core of "female solipsism" is not that big of a deal anyway.

Core points :

TRP definition of female solipsism IS NOT the definition of solipsism (so even OP's kinda wrong).
Debate the validity of theory, not the offensiveness of the theory.

That being said, why is this even necessary to bring up? I identify as RP and I can find a bunch of problems with the theory that are actually worth debating, yet some of you get hung up on a seemingly inconsequential perceived semantic. At most, this is just liberal use of an exaggeration. You can find plenty of worse things said about people on TRP.

Regardless, I find the whole thing with female solipsism ridiculous. Statistically, men are twice as likely to be narcissistic as women. If you were to ask me which sex [on average] is more obsessed with their own ego, desires, and feelings, I would say men. Hands down, no competition.

So why even have a term like female solipsism? What purpose does it serve?

This is not helpful in my opinion. The issue is NOT solipsism, per se...it is the SPECIFIC type of "female solipsism" postulated in the Man-o-sphere to which I've linked 100 times. It is NOT the dictionary definition of solipsism nor the philosophical definition, it is the RP definition. People who argue against it are NEVEr arguing against what it actually is because they refuse to understand the thing they are arguing against and just scan for keywords to object to and run with them.

I honestly just didn't know that other definition existed, I'd literally only ever heard it in TRP so I assumed they just appropriated the term. I was recently corrected so I don't care any more.

The inability to understand what other people are thinking(not feeling). The inability to put yourself in someone else's shoes(not a theoretical "how would you feel" or "what would you do", but to understand the complex nature of another human being from their perspective)

Men, ask your woman in any context(that she didn't ask you or sugested), any routine context if she understands why you are doing something you initiated (Then for extra drama ask your neighbour or a random dude). Don't rationalise her answer or let her start probing for details and questions, just demand a simple one sentence answer to the question "why?". Have fun ;)

It is remarkable just how "misterious" the most obvious shit can be to women, that quirk is a innocent manifestation of female solipsism. In more aggravated forms it basically reduces any situation to: how does this impact me, how do I feel about this, what do I get out of this.
