The definition of evil is profound immorality or wickedness. I dont think that is an accurate description.

I may not like female hypergamy and its implications for me, but my view on it is based in objectivity. It's the only game in town, and always will be IMO.

I think believing hypergamy (or whatever other RP concept) is "evil" vs not having a moral judgement on it, is kind of the biggest hurdle for anger phase RPers.

It's not how I would like female sexuality to work like but I wouldn't call it evil.Its not that there is intent to harm or something .Calling women evil because of their hypergamy would be like them calling me evil because I don't like fat chicks

I don't cast moral aspersions on things like what women do because I'm not religious.

Religious people care about "good" and "bad" to circumvent thinking.

Hypergamy largely exists because the majority of men don't care about their partner's wealth/ productivity/ status as long as they are attractive.

Nah. It was practical and useful over time. Female mate selection is one reason why we’re not all running from Neanderthals.

But today it doesn’t seem very practical. Obviously not all women can lock down a HVM and our narratives haven’t changed to reflect this.

I dont think instincts can be evil in and of themselves. Behavior can, certainly.

But even there, i think theres a big difference between selfishness or just... inability to appreciate ones partner (as characterizes hypergamy), and EVIL acts like murder, rape etc. Evil is strong language, i dont think ditching ones partner qualifies.

Nature is just that, nature. There is no 'evil' or 'good' on it. It is. Period.

Good and evil are subjective concepts which have no real concepts here, as there is no violence involved. (or at least supposedly have no violence)

Of course its not evil.

To an extent, it is maladaptive to modern times (as women want "Tribal Chieftain Genes" in their partners, rather than the kinds of genes that make people functional and productive and innovative in a modern, technology-driven economy). But it isn't evil.

Men also have a superficial sexuality driven by pre-civilizational priorities.

At the same time, these animalistic sexualities aren't all bad! I mean, we've evolved to find 'exoticness' attractive, which has the advantage of strengthening immune systems in the resultant offspring and also in preventing incest/consanguinity.

Not to mention, in a way the difference between men and women can often be one of degree rather than principle. Both men and women want a large number of high-quality mates. The only difference is that when forced to make a tradeoff, women pick quality over quantity, and men often pick the reverse.

The simple reality is that the "modern condition" involves conflicts between our lizard brain and our prefrontal cortex. Both sexes want to indulge their own lizard brains whilst denying the other sex the opportunity to indulge theirs. At the same time, both sexes have components of their lizard brains that are deeply obsolete in the context of modernity.

I wouldn't say there's any "evil" involved here. There's a complicated adjustment between the male lizard brain, the female lizard brain, and a modern world that is ill-fitting for both.

Hypergamy is not bad. Chad chasing and willingly being used for sex by him is bad, though. Women should ideally find men slightly better than them and have monogamous relationships where they mutually provide and take care of any children they create together. Average men should improve themselves enough to be and stay attractive to said women.

No. It's more like a force of nature, an urge or instinct that can be used for good or for bad. If left unchecked and relentlessly indulged in it will become an evil, just like any natural urge. Sexual morals exist to keep it confined within limits that uphold civilization. Women are no longer expected to observe any sexual morals and that is deeply problematic for the moral fabric of society.
