I usually only watch TV when I go to my parents house because my busy ass has little time for it.

But when I do.... Naked and Afraid baybay!

It's some of the best male/female psychology experimentation I have ever seen.

For instance if there are people that hate or despise the opposite gender, it usually comes out immediately. In fact the ones that usually fail the quickest or split up are usually people that have some kind of secret gender biased beliefs or big egos in general. Typically big egos are the first hurdle that the group experiences. Either it starts as passive aggressiveness or it gets held down for a day or two, but within a week the explosion occurs and people start arguing or dropping out of the competition.

9 times out of 10, the ones that end up surviving are the men and women that work and stay together. Most of the time this includes both having humility & both taking on positive support roles for each other. Even when only one of the group members is able to work or perform a certain task - ex. someone gets hurt or only one person knows how to perform the required skill, if the other person remains emotionally supportive, it goes a long way.

This has led me to the belief that gender stone throwing is a 1st world problem. If technology vanished, we would immediately see people breaking down from ego death. Communication and addressing matters is extremely important, but gender blaming and lack of empathy is immature.

That being said, I love the internet, transportation and many other things technology has given us. I think it comes down to remembering where we came from.

If you are going to watch TV I recommend some N&A. (otherwise stay outside & stuff)

edit: I know it is a "controlled survival situation" instead of an actual survival situation however I believe that the show is legit aside from that (and a few edits to make things appear more dramatic). I also notice that they choose contestants with conflicting personality types seemingly too conveniently.
