As others have said, most of us women don't think men and women are 100% the same. Just that the supposed traits of "female nature" (which are all negative) are really just... part of human nature. Shitty human nature, for sure, but nonetheless both genders can be shitty.

It doesn't matter if it's technically a false equivalence or not, even if it qualifies as one (which might be debatable).

All women do is point out that men have somewhat comparable negative behaviors when it comes to relationships/dating. What's the big deal? I'm a male, and I see shitty behavior from both males and females. I don't bother trying to quantify who's worse.

We say "but men do it too" because we know the manosphere operates under the assumption that men are superior to women in every way so anything negative said about women has the implicit "and this is why women are worse than men" addendum.

I say the same thing when talking to women who, in a fit of male-bashing, feel the need to bring up that "Men are shallow." My first response is "So are women." That's not to say that women and men are exactly the same, but using something that both genders do as evidence that one gender is inferior doesn't make sense.

Also, red pillers literally do this every time someone says something bad about men lol

That assumes men and women are the same.
Men and women are not the same.
Ergo statement 1 is false. QED

Proposition 2 doesn't really make sense either. Why is saying that men share characteristics with women equivalent to saying they are functional equals? I don't think you really believe this or else you'd have to say that there is no union between the characteristics of women and the characteristics of men, which is very obviously false. The existence of "fundamental differences" I don't think makes much of an impact on the occurrent belief in proposition 1. Either proposition 1 is entirely false and the interlocutor who said it is in error, which means that the whole argument is null, or it is the case that men and women can perform similar behaviors and still hold what you call "fundamental differences."

TRollo has obviously never debated with red pill men. If he ever did he would realize that the False Equivalency fallacy is the first response when these men are pressed on any issue regarding the behavior of men. That deflection ("but women... but hypergamy...") is a hard wired response. It's muscle memory at this point.

Not sure why TRollo believes that only women are capable of False Equivalency, it's not a gender specific fallacy.

I think the major problem I have with your statement is the 'strategy' part. I have no strategy as a woman to ensnare a man or whatever. My strategy is to be the happiest I can be in life and hopefully make the people around me happy too.

I often find myself more drawn to male conversation than female and am certainly no stranger to the idea that men and women (to generalise) are very different in their ways of thinking and strengths/weaknesses. I consider myself to be somewhat atypical woman and roll my eyes on many occasions at the more stereotypical conversations and behaviours of women around me. I do the same with men when they behave in stereotypical ways too - but there are so many great people of both genders in between! And the best thing overall is that male and female working together is the strongest and best of humanity. To my mind, the world is skewed to the male brain and would be better if equalised more towards a male/female balance. One is not better than the other, both have their weaknesses when not balanced - a female dominated world would be just as bad as the male dominated one we have now, but different....
