How do the guys you have STR/ONS differ from the guys you LTR?

My casual partners were guys I found attractive and had fun being around in short bursts.

My long term partners were the same, but also had their shit together, had similar life plans to me and were somewhat reliable.

The men I've had STR with/ONS with were DTF that night lol. I never just decided randomly to have a STR or ONS it was always just a lets see what happens thing. They just happened to reach out to me and be available on a night I needed to make sure my pussy still worked.

My current fuckbuddy- he's basically my type to a T. Ugly/sexy (depending on ur taste) short hispanic dude with the iq of a toothpick. I'd LTR him if he asked to be in a LTR I guess.

I don't understand this question. LTRs were always just STRs that just didn't end. They weren't "different" in anyway except I didn't dump him and he didn't dump me until we were like, living together.

STRs we’re allowed to meet certain close friends, as there was generally a base friendship (even if we weren’t compatible long term)

LTRs were an extension of my life, and I was an extension of theirs. Our lives became enmeshed

Casual guys are guys who I find hot, nice to me, play ball so that I'm comfortable, but have something about them that makes it impossible to see them in a romantic way.

LTR guys are guys who I find attractive but I also connect with on a deeper level. Our principles tend to be in line with each other, educated, financially stable, and someone I feel good being associated with.

I have certain dealbreakers that I test for before I move forward with either party. All unpopular with the men in here but perfect for me.

I don't do ONS anymore, but when I was younger, it was more about my life situation and current priorities than any qualities the guy may or may not possess (ie. travelling, in school, between relationships or otherwise just not looking for a LTR).

I've never actually gone out looking for a ONS, they always just ...happened due to a strong physical attraction, "chemistry" and the right circumstances. But I would say that confident, funny, charming, tall (sorry short guys) and attractive (sorry ugly guys) were the right combo for me.

I don't do ONS; tried it once and was utterly horrified by the experience. The guy in question wasn't extraordinary in any way, certainly not as compared to other guys I've gone out with.

Generally I have more in common with the LTR guys/ I like them more. "STRs" are just dating; if the dating goes well, the STR becomes an LTR absent any mitigating factors (one of you is moving out of state at the end of the summer or whatever).

The one true trend I've found is the ons and strs were less physically appealing to me than my 2 ltrs. Also my 2 ltrs thought I was very attractive, they were smart men, and also kind / respectful of me . Only a handful of my ons and strs thought I was super attractive.

My one night stands were guys far out of my league in attractiveness, because I could, and wasn't concerned with the insecurities that come with relationships (am I good enough for him? Is he gonna cheat? Can I trust him not to steal the money out of my purse and go play poker?)

My LTR's were guys I felt were similarly attractive or lower, and who I had a mental and emotional attraction to, and an ability to trust.

ONS's are meaningless fun so the only consideration was attractiveness. I never wanted to hang out, with the exception of one guy who turned out to be incredibly attractive and just an awesome person to hang out with. He became a FWB, we're still good friends, but he's since moved out of state. Still, I'd have never tried to pull him into an LTR, not because of anything to do with him, but due to my own insecurities and what a nut case I'd probably be over jealousy and suspicion.
