People OUTSIDE the main BP/TRP/PPD demographic, what is your perspective on the topics debated here?

I fit all the criteria aside from the fact I like in Britain and not North America. Two things stick out as odd to me.

Dating. Nobody is fucking dating here, you are either in a relationship or you are seeing someone, i.e. meeting up for sex and maybe drinking/smoking. The use of language I see implies a formalised dating culture where I imagine some old shrew conducts interviews over dinner (dates?) with suitors which is presumably where this formalised idea of an open-relationship comes from. We don't have open-relationships here, we are just seeing someone and might be seeing other people.

Acting like an asshole/being masculine. Brits are seen as the assholes of Europe with the sarcasm and banter (both of which I hate) but even then Americans seem even more extreme with brash shows of over the top masculinity which to me seems almost comical, I would just laugh if a overheard a man saying some of the stuff I hear is normal for Americans. I would not be intimidated, I would just laugh in his face and tell him unless he is a billionaire who can call a hitman on me, shut up and fuck off.

I first found out about PUA's, which I consider to be the seed of TRP, many years ago. I was always into internet culture and stupidity so I saw when it became a thing. PUA's actually gained a little bit of popularity here and I know a couple of guys who were into it, but it died down I think. A PUA approaching a group of girls became a meme here. I don't think TRP ever gained popularity though.

Some things can be applied here in Brazil. The men here are some of the most violent, disrespectful, and filthy on Earth so there's more demand for "beta" type of men. It's one of the reasons brazilian women dream of marrying a foreigner and live a more stable life and have a more equal relationship. Some women also end up at the extreme opposite, chasing criminals and other filth. Those often end up in gore websites with their heads chopped off.

I'm a white hispanic in my late teens. The people I'm surrounded by are mixed racially and socioeconomically, I live in a city where you can drive 10 minutes one way and be in the hood, 10 the other and be in the country, 10 another way and you'll be in some hipster area downtown. I guess I'm middle class? I have divorced parents, dad is UMC but lives VERY frugally (he's also like 70 lol) and my mom grew up dirt poor and several times throughout my childhood I remember having to run to walmart with her to return cat litter so we could eat that night or coming home and the water bill wasn't paid. So idk where I stand socioeconomically.

I think many aspects of TRP are well known in non white communities or working class people. Only sheltered white kids or first gen immigrants (not race baiting) really need to be told about the "SMV". I identify as red pill solely because I accept that's how men think, not because I really enjoy red pill philosophy and prostrate at the altar of the sidebar. My overall perspective is a lot of the red pill is men projecting themselves onto women. But I do accept that this is the way men think and come to understand the world around them (including their perception of women) and even though I was offended at first at how men in TRP talked about women, I got over it. It doesn't benefit me to deny what men say they feel and think about women, but it does benefit me to understand their perspective. I'm not a tradwife or coolgirl type, I don't plan on being a plate or pickmeisha for some RP man.

I used to be a gender critical radical feminist. There's a radical feminist to right wing/trad/libertarian/red pill/whatever pipeline people don't speak about. In a way, I had already accepted that there was a difference between men and women. Spending time in the pillosphere has helped me realize men aren't just defective women, and no amount of shaming men for their nature is going to help society (even if some parts of male nature are things i find inherently gross). I think both genders need to collectively, all 7 billion of us, go on a same sex therapy retreat for 2 weeks in the woods and then we come back together and realize we need each other and we're not enemies <3

Pure entertainment and warning signs of what to look at in a potential partner. And not indicative of my personal reality, but maybe Im just lucky. Im woman, upper class, mixed race. I think everyone needs to be careful when letting someone in their life. They can easily just be there for money, favours etc. This is something I have understood since I was very young as I was raised this way.

I have 'dated down'. According to TRP this should not be possible. I personally dont care as I have my own achievements and my partner and I are companions. We build off eachothers strengths and my relationship with him exists because I genuinely love spending time with him and think he will be great to build a life with in the future. I don't really much care what internet nerds think about this and my female friends are with their partners for the same reasons. All anecdote though of course and who knows what is really the truth, because these experiences are equaly as true as TRP experiences.

I agree with many facets of TRP theory. Including bettering yourself for yourself, not submitting to others wills. Not letting yourself be used for money etc. I dont agree that any theory they posit is in any way scientifically accurate, nor should they act like they are anything more than anecdote and gudeline rather than fact. They provide little actual data and when they do, the studies are oftentimes badly performed and have gaping methodological holes. I don't really believe psychology to be that easily quatifiable and there are very many gaps and exceptions to red pill rules. What I cannot understand is the blatant disrespect for all women. Evil, manipulative women I can understand, but all women? They claim that women are hypergamous. Arent all people to an extent? Plenty of men I know will monkey branch if a woman looks better. How is that excusable or in any way different? Adittionally many TRPers are prone to extremist thinking and will start seeing all interactions through a TRP lens. Paranoid people do this all the time. And while it helps to not get hurt, it's mentally draining and unhealthy in the long run and not as subtle to other people as you think.

Tldr; I like how it introduces self-reliance and skepticism of people's motives, but it's claims are not based on critical thought or science, and introduce paranoia and obsession in its user base. Thats a sign of fear and shows how much it really occupies their minds.

I found out about the redpill in the racial sense before this asktrp stuff. I don't think my way into this sub was special in any way tbh, I live in the West and I have access to the internet...

I actually believe a lot of the redpill theory for dating/relationships is quite universal. Except the cultures of other countries have their own ways in trying to combat it. A friend of mine went to Egypt for two years, and she said that some of the muslim girls over there do have boyfriends, but they pretty much avoid PIV (might do anal tho) to at least be "virgins" for their future husband. Not sure if they do arranged marriages there, but I suppose AF/BB can happen in some cases like that

I guess men in those countries try to have more control of it. I mean, there's literal incel subs for muslim trad guys who can't get married, and the muslimmarriage sub does show that too. Somehow they think they can find a handholdless, kissless virgin in the west??? Sure, some of my friends fit that bill. But they also have high standards for what kind of guy they want to marry. (Theyre not asian muslims tho, the asian ones are either more westernised or got an arranged marriage)

What I do find interesting tho is that if white men are supposedly the most desired (according to okcupid stats), how come they're the easiest to attract in the sense that they don't have strong preferences for attractive, virgin women?

Discovered the whole thing through exposure to BP. Found it to be the saltiest subreddit I had seen. Subsequently looked at RP which seemed a bit up its own ass. I think there is a core of interesting discussion that could be had about the subject of gender differences in psychology and mating dynamics. But I also think the best attempt at this so far looks more like petty trench warfare.

Also, given some of the offered social context, it seems inapplicable to most non-US societies.

Parents from North African but I have a light complexion, Hazel eyes, look European, pretty good looking but just started lifting. When I was born in America my family was lower middle class and transitioned to Upper middle by the time I reached high school.

I'm pretty new to all this so I'll chime in.

In high school, the Red Pill in retrospect was right for the most part. Had oneitis early on and thought being nice was the way to get a girl. That was freshman year of high school/middle school. I also noticed that the girls that weren't the one I had my eye on were much more receptive to me. I would banter and tease and joke around them very easily just like I would my male friends. A few had crushes on me but I still was fixated on the one girl. This is also before I hit my growth spurt from like 5'4 to 5'10. Through observation I could see I was doing it wrong and adjusted. I guess who I was around girls I didn't find oppressively attractive was like red pill lite. I was myself, stoic, nothing could phase me and I was on a mission. I was more focused on school so it ended up with the girls chasing me either. Teenage girls are awful at flirting btw I usually found out from one of their friends. My dad is pretty Red Pill and my mom is happy. My problems stemmed from him being an asshole and me not wanting to be like him. I grew out of that. I've found absolute confidence and having no hesitation when talking with a girl is enough most of the time for pickup. Banter especially funny banter is easy mode.

My parents grew up in a conservative culture. Most people only have 1 partner for life. It is much more family focused and you have a far branching family that you know. Nuclear families and a bunch of extended families vacation together. Honestly more than 50 people closer to 75 who vacation in the same vicinity ever year for the last 30 years. My mom sees her cousins each year for months at a time and I'm friends with like 10 cousins and a bunch of 2nd cousins. It's really nice. They have less than typical Americans but my family are more of the wealthier type in that country, vacationing in Spain often. Honestly, they seem happier than the typical American family. Everyone grows old together and it's kind of beautiful. That's what scary about the divorce rate and the potential that hypergamy is a thing. The kids in my middle school had few divorced parents and my family and extended family only had 1 divorce. I didn't anticipate the possibility of divorce in my youth and frankly I don't understand how hard it is to stay together. Seems to be more self greed than loyalty here than in more conservative cultures. And I'm not conservative, but a social democrat. Mostly for fiscal reasons but I feel the social side has swung way too far to the left. People take everything so seriously nowadays.

In college, I still think AWALT is exaggerated. Other than the dorm bicycle I feel like most people have only a few partners a year at the most. It is an Ivy League school to give perspective. My roomate and best friend was objectively a 'Chad' and will make a good Alpha Bux one day (did I use those right). Rich family, 6'2, Pretty, Ripped One of the smartest people I ever met, D1 athlete. He still only gets laid once or twice a month. He could do it more, but most girls at this school are below his SMV so he's almost always banging down.He doesn't use tinder but I'm sure he would be successful if he was. He got into a LTR junior year. His gf was very pretty.I do have to admit most of the girls are lower in the HB scale here than typical. Plus since an HB7 are the highest you find on campus they have their pick of high quality men. Some of the hotter girls relatively got with uglier dudes. One of the hottest girls was dating a dude that was like 5'3. So I think that physical attractiveness isn't necessarily the end all for all girls. It certainly helps though.

So for the most part I think Red Pill is much more accurate than Blue pill but it does exaggerate at some parts.

I’m a 22yo Asian born and raised in the US. Born LC but family became UMC/UC throughout my life. I am leading a professional life that will be similarly UMC/UC.

I learned about Game as a teenager. I had guy friends who used it successfully and taught me what to look out for as a girl. Only started looking into Pill stuff after the rise in incel terrorism which led me to online communities of sexually frustrated men. I discovered r/asktrp first and got obliterated commenting in there because I would let slip that I was a femoid (which = pandering for attention in those spaces). Found BP RP PPD. Can’t do BP because they’re not debating anything, just making fun of Terps. I prefer criticizing Terps in long form annoying sex-oversharing comments 🤪

IMO RP applies exclusively to Western dating. Even 2nd gen immigrants like me are not 100% applicable, depending on how whitewashed they are. I’m not sure about differences between classes because I haven’t dated out of my own current socioeconomic class.

As such, I strongly believe the current RP rhetoric is a direct response to Western feminism. Hence the use of terms like “oppressive” and a focus on “equality” — the natural Reds I know IRL do not give a fuck about equality nor being oppressed because, well, they aren’t entitled pussies. Sorry. The goals of RP have become polluted and contorted by the influx of people with different expectations and needs. As a result there is a lot of internal contradiction when you look at TRP as a whole today.

I’m still not entirely convinced half the people here are real. Their square, stunted views are alien to me and the things that upset them don’t tend to even register on my radar.

I got here cuz I’m fascinated by weird crime and I read Elliot Roger’s manifesto, leading to finding incels, which led to finding redpill, which led to here. I actually really like the atmosphere - I’m an east coast hardass with generally pro-social/altruistic tendencies so I like that PPD has all the blunt speak of RP without all the assumed sexism and racism.

I’m not RP, but I would say I’ve lived by many RP mentalities to my benefit long before RP existed (“I am the prize”, “keep something for yourself”, “dont text outside scheduling”, “abundance mentality”, agree and amplify” - though I’d add I didn’t realize this for a long time because RP is often so poorly explained I didn’t even know “negging” was essentially banter/flirting by another name.)

I identify least with BluePill, but mostly because it was originally a sub created expressly to make fun of RedPill. This, to me, is bullying behavior. I’m opposed to bullying so I’m opposed to BP.

I've noticed a few things: women trying to rationalize their own behavior and going to ridiculous extents to claim that past behavior doesn't influence present behavior and/or isn't a valid "lead indicator" to look at, as far as predicting how someone will behave. Yeah ladies of PPD, I'm sure that a virgin Muslim girl will be just as likely to cheat or "branch swing" as a former sorority girl who spent her 20s fucking everything that moves. It's also totally normal to have fucked 20 guys before you graduate college, and that totally isn't an indicator of your behavior and how you view romance/relationships.

Many outright sexist/misogynistic men who have a habit of dating vapid idiots and bar bunnies. Yeah, no shit the women in your life are worth less than a puddle of warm piss. You're also not a "strong man" if your masculinity is so fragile that you literally have to reorient your life, cognition, and introduce artificial behaviors to "maintain your frame".

I'm non white and young (19). I'm also a FebFem. A lot of people have their judgement clouded by their limited perspective. A lot of people also don't seem to understand the changes that have happened over the past 10 years.

Social media, decreasing financial stability, and the pushing adulthood until older ages have drastically affected dating. People are older when they start dating, kissing, driving, and having sex. Some of my above average to very attractive friends did not have their first kisses until they were 16 or 17.

I think the biggest changes in the sexual market are due to adulthood being pushed until later.

I also think that an increasing number of people, especially women are apathetic about both sex and relationships.

To me, it’s not that the “problem” can be boiled down to race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, etc. the problem can be boiled down to the fact that those dominating the discussion tend to have the least knowledge of what the fuck we’re actually talking about. Gravel roads said the comments here seem too alien to believe they come from real people with real experiences. He’s right on the money. PPD is now a circle jerk of copy pasta type rants from duplicate accounts rather than debate and discussion between people with knowledge and experience on any given sub topic.

EDIT: Also, also. So many here act deathly afraid of shit that has low risk of physical danger. Again, it all seems to come from living a sheltered life. My closer peers (yes even the women) are much better as assessing risk, which is separate from being jumpy and “creeped out” about every and anything related to disagreement with other humans.

A lot of tips and tricks and rules that are talked about are just completely ridiculous. While I'm sure there are certain social dynamics in which especially TRP works totally fine, it just wouldn't work where I live. Dating isn't a "game" over here. There aren't as many rules and social norms like there seem to be in the US and I feel like it's just way more laid back here. I look at every post I read in any pill discussion forum with a grain of salt. It's impossible to take everything here completely seriously.

How I found out about them? I was browsing reddit and came across the term incel, so I browsed reddit some more and learned about the black pill and going from that MGTOW, TRP, BP and of course PPD. In that order.

I'm having a hard time thinking about examples for universal and non-universal aspects though. If you're curious about how I view a certain topic feel free to ask.

I'm north american but I'm racially mixed, in terms of class I come from a farming family but did well enough in school for an ivy education and then pushed into the tech industry as an engineer and I write on the side. So I went from low class to upper.

I found red pill browsing the internet for confidence tricks. I'm really interested in psychology and how to fix people up inside but Psychology as a field of study and therapy as an industry is bloated and limp wristed. I think if you want to understand people you need to be able not only empathize with them, you need to understand the mechanics that are plainly irrational, that they don't just want hapiiness but have needs that are more strange and mysterious. TRP is one of the few active intellectual groups where young people discuss this. It has much more vitality and vigor in the discussion than accepted academia and it places emphasis on tools that are useful to the individual which I appreciate. Anything that shows me how to negotiate life with better tools and more intuition is valuable to me.

The manosphere has basically always been in the background radiation of my life. I was a regular 4chan user back in the day and I saw a lot of things develop in real time. I never actually joined them and have no desire to.

Since I move around and talk to a lot of people from a lot of countries I think a lot of TRP's problems are universal problems they didn't make up or even coin themselves and their solutions aren't rare either. There's a lot of men who are sexually unfulfilled and that number is only going up. I think some study found that incels and TRP were at least as diverse if not moreso compared to the average american population.

In this regard I'm actually really concerned. We now have like five or six digits worth of people who are angry and frustrated in the prime of their youth and just like a lot of current cultural problems they don't really have a sense this will go away. Our attitude to this issue is oriented around the idea that it's all in their head and they're too spineless to do anything substantial but that's not nearly the case.

Slavic female here. I found out through reddit. I think all the debates are hilarious. Terpers are socially awkward, bragging sociopaths. Red Pill Woman are some wannabe 60's housewife cult with no respect for themselvs. Blue Pillers are soem self-proclaimed SJW feminists, who twist everything in an opposite direction then Terpers. And PPD is a troll-hole with funny, pointless debates. Oh and black pill as the incel-heaven is like diving heads deep into a shitholw. I find the whole pill idea to ba a good sitcom.
There is a bit of truth in blue, red, purple and ny other color, but it just theory with no application in real life. But maybe it is just the slavic perception. I would feel not feminine enought being with a blue pilled man, but I would absolutely make a living hell out of a terpers life. No goddamn pussy or wanna-be macho will tell me what my worth is.

I consider pretty much everything discussed here completely unrelatable and quaint; it's not how anything operates in the Netherlands. It feels very American and it doesn't really concern me. I see that there is a enormous overlap between people around the modern world. Globalization's fault maybe?

Yes, there are differences in culture and nature. But we have so much overlap that it is just ludicrous. We have way too much similarities and too little dissimilarities. Yes, me and other people from other cultures may express more the dissimilarities, however, we still think it is similar, or we wouldn't be here.

The red pill express well my understanding of women both in Brazil, Uruguai, and USA. It seems like their hypotheses are really unearthing something of value about human nature or at least the continental america dating landscape. However I concede they are not perfect, that is why I am still no pill.

I swallowed the red pill before finding it. I had some hypotheses about the SMP/RMP which greatly resembled the TRP way before I have internet access or learned english. After some years, I discovered the name of such hypotheses. "The Red Pill". And I've been keeping track of their hypotheses ever since as source of insight. They did find something useful.
