I'm usually more of a rp person. Tbp hates me check my post history, but lmr is something I don't understand.

If you truly have an abundance mentality and there is more than token resistance why would you go any further? Next the girl. she is not worth it. And I don't mean she is low value I mean she is not worth the rape charge. Divorce and a rape charge are things that will ruin the life you are trying to build. Trp says don't risk it on marriage so why risk it on rape.

With an abundance mentality you should think there are plenty of women that want you who are not going to resist. And honestly of you really have this mentality often times the girl will not want to resist. At least that is my experience.

Demonstrate high value, build attraction, and for god sakes pace your physical escalation such that she is ripping your clothes off. Or don't have the sex but be an awesome enough man that the next morning she regrets resisting. And in true red pill form while she is regretting it you should be banging one of your plates and not calling her back. (I'm mostly kidding, I like being a one woman man)

I've never understood why TRP conplains about "female hypoagency" but then says to "push through LMR".

If you want women to have agency and be held accountable for their actions, be consistent. If a woman is saying she doesn't want to have sex with you, that's a fair choice and you should understand it. If she was genuine, you seem confident and non-needy/pushy. If she was trying to play some kind of "win me over" game, she'll be disappointed and less likely to engage in that kind of tactic in future. Win/win, IMO. And if you have the "abundance mentality" that TRP suggests, you shouldn't be too bothered by not having sex this one time. You'll also most likely avoid your partner feeling bad/guilty in the morning, which seems to be something TRP has concerns about.

Studies typically find that men use "LMR" as much or more than women do so this explanation based in gender-difference should be very suspect.

Devlin in the sidebar gives a great example of why people object to "LMR" mindsets. He wants to describe a situation where sex is completely consensual, and says:

She seems confused, too, and he meets no more than token resistance (or so it seems to him).

If your partner is confused and resisting, your perception alone that this is not "real" resistance is not sufficient. These cues give us reason to question whether there is consent, so assuming consent is not reasonable. If, in fact, this is more than token resistance then "overcomining" it is in fact rape, and someone's unfortunate misconception that it is only token resistance is no defense.

What amazes me most is that everyone alive has been shot down for sex on an occasion, and most go on to have sex, sometimes shortly after. There's no need for LMR mindset which focuses on assuming the resistance is token, should be ignored, or is even a cue of consent. Keep the comfort going, keep selling the goods, and take yes for an answer instead.

Am I the only guy who has casual sex that's never encountered "last minute resistance"? Maybe it's got something to do with prior communication, I don't know. Anyway, if a woman ever seemed to be having second thoughts, you bet your ass I'd put the brakes on and perhaps try again another time. First, that's the moral thing to do, secondly, who needs the potential drama?

I don't know that this is TRPs take on it. I disagree with it either way.

LMR is deeper than societal pressure, LMR has to do with a persons sociosexual restrictiveness.

Basically, people who are sociosexually restrictive are going to be more reluctant to have sex with someone with whom they don't share an emotional connection, and so are more likely to get very nervous as sexual activity progresses.

I suspect (but don't actually know) that women tend more toward sociosexual restrictiveness than men. But I classify myself as highly restrictive, so it's a distribution, obviously.

If anything, societal pressure nowadays pushes people towards being more unrestrictive. So I think people who are restricted are doing something which goes counter to their personality, and that's where LMR comes from.

I do not tolerate last minute resistance in any form. If she says she doesn't want, and consequently doesn't get, then if she really wanted after all she missed out, not me. With the issue of sexual consent, I side with the feminists -- I refuse to tolerate ambiguity. People who shy away from direct communication are the epitome of cowardice.

TRP is under the impression LMR is the result of societal pressure. I just see it as another shit-test. I don't really care if it's the result of societal pressure or a test to see if I'm man enough to hold her to her word. She made the choice to come over, and I made it clear we'd be fucking. I make her acknowledge it before we get together, and I make her acknowledge it again right before. If she wants to play the maybe game, she's not coming over. Simple as that.

Now i convinced someone to buy a car, and apparently according to some it was evil no no manipulation, so that final sale must therefore be void.
