Women evolved to find rape traumatic because the opportunity cost that rape inflicts on them is a massive detriment to their reproductive success. If they're raped, that's at least 9 months of reproductive opportunity wasted on offspring with a mate she deems genetically unfit (since if she deemed the mate genetically fit, the sex would have been consensual). Thus, women evolved a strong aversion to rape so that they secured the best genes for their offspring.

You know what else is a massive detriment to one's reproductive success? Nobody wanting to have sex with you. Much moreso, in fact, over a long enough period of time. Thus, it makes total sense that the trauma that sexlessness causes men is at least equivalent (but likely even greater) than the trauma that rape causes women.

Using myself as an example, I have endured about 15 years of reproductive opportunity without sex. Thus, it is accurate to say that the trauma I have accumulated thus far in my life is equivalent to that which is accumulated by a woman who has been raped 20 times.

This checks out, since if I was given the opportunity to trade places with a raped woman (even one that had been raped numerous times), I would in a heartbeat.
