Well that sucks. Guess he should have "vetted better" like the manosphere loves to say. Cuz this isn't a typical representation of a relationship. It happens but most aren't this unbalanced with one partner pulling all the weight, whether that's the man or women.

It sounds like a nice combination of satire and warning against being in a relationship just to say you're in a relationship. If a man or woman is already happy without a gf or bf, adding another person into your life to that extent (living together, sharing finances, etc) is not likely to make them happier. For some people it can, other people it will simply add stress and difficulty to their previously relaxed lives.
