I realize a lot of guys have experienced a meaner form of rejection than some guys ever experience. I've read that some women have said some downright cruel things that no man would ever say to a woman, at least on a first encounter.

That being said, I've also read a lot of accounts of guys not even talking to a woman unless he viewed her as excessively attractive, with the logic of, "If you're going to go out- go big. Don't get rejected by a less attractive woman."

The first problem with this fallacy I've seen addressed by RP. You are approaching a more challenging game, with overall less experience. If you're new to climbing, you might not want to start out with Mt. Everest. If you are a total noob, maybe start at an even lower level than you.

The other side that I never see "those types" address is there is a lot more to real life attraction than static physical beauty. There was a test we did here a while back where we were asked to identify feelings/emotion, just conveyed by their eyes. And I'll repeat this is just their eyes. This isn't even the rest of the face, head position, or the rest of the body. Most women are naturally astute at picking up underlying emotions, and can not only "smell fear," they can see it before you even get close enough to.

Things like this are especially important to men who are already holding less high cards in their hand to play. Every little bit helps and hurts, and it is even more important to be able to play every angle you can.

Don't just watch with scorn at "Chad" picking up those girls so smoothly. Notice his posture, his walk, mannerisms, and you'll see patterns. An example being not not head down, hunkering low walk reminiscent of a beaten dog with it's tail between its legs.
