Everyone here has been an victim of this atleast once in their PPD lives. The two words "TRP CONFIRMED". This is something that I see frequently being used as a easy go to by TRPers on PPD (now there are plenty of TRPers that don't do this, so don't touch this subject it is pointless and only muddies the discussion).

It annoys people, not for the reason that TRPers are right or something. No it is because they are right for the WRONG reasons. This is a good example that represents this. The part where /u/SmurfESmurferson refers to as "getting it" is applied to the fact that said partner (in this case her husband) would be less likely to embarrass her. To which /u/LewisCross responds to it as "TRP confirmed".

It is a phrase that could be used too broadly that it holds no real substance to the discussion at hand. It doesn't really specify anything other, than some supposed vague core tenant, which only serves as making the person using it come over as if he/she is socially inept.

This results in reinforcing how little TRPers understand about social situations even though it isn't necessarily true. I quite frankly don't think that I am the only one who perceives it as this way, as I have seen other people convey a same kind of "frustration" over it.
