I'd say it's more about the change in dating dynamics due to modern society.

Dating apps have made it so only the top percentage of men are even allowed to communicate with women. Women remain hypergamous despite having 6/10 college degrees and out earning men under 30. Male sexlessness has increased dramatically over the past 10 years. Men seem to be giving up on women and checking out of social responsibility (working part time, living in 1 bedroom apartments, doing just enough to hang out with friends and play video games). #metoo, woke and feminist theory has made men scared of talking to women in real life as a clumsy interaction can result in being accused of harassment which can get them publicly shamed online, kicked out of college or fired.

PPD is about people from different sides of the aisle coming together to insult each other about all of these interesting topics.

In reality there is a shortage of men. Between the female population being slightly more in most developed countries, more men dying earlier and being in jail, the pool of available men is actually much smaller than the pool of women out there. The real issue is that guys keep selling themselves short. You have as much value as any woman out there. Your dick is as valuable as any vagina. But most men are too busy beating themselves up and being thirsty to realize some of these immutable truths.

Some people believe that at the end of the day, the world is fair. When you confront them with the reality that it isn’t, they try to deny it by any means. This is basically the debate here.

Cope-ers coping and people trying to reason with them.

You quickly find yourself arguing the most obvious things to to people who simply don’t want to hear it because they don’t like it.

This sub used to be about the morality/ethics of dating strategies, and whether or not generalizations being taught about women were/are correct.

Then the incel subs got taken down, and they started brigading over into subs like this. This sub turned more into Red and Blue pill vs black pills.

Then that progressed further into, "currycels" and the like, who added a non-Western mentality/paradigm to what is mostly a Western centered market, for lack of a better term atm.

I see less and less of the old type subjects, and the sub has basically turned into, "How to fix incels, from the Red and Blue perspectives, who occasionally argue over nuances and said perspectives."

Edit: Ethics is probably a better word than morality for this. More akin to business ethics of dating, probably.

There is still much room for discussion and debates even if everyone accepts that dating/sex/relationship scenes favor women due to nature of men and women. For example, people can argue about which ways are the best for navigating and making the best out of this situation. Or people can talk about social changes that may address or affect this imbalance.

I will admit that I don’t see many debates in this sub and I read and participate here mainly for entertainment. But sometimes I find some comments making good or interesting points, even when they are made by pills different than mine. There are not many places on the internet where people of different pills can somewhat tolerate one another.

For me a lot of it is comfort that a lot of other men feel the same way and see the same patterns, but at the same time don’t want to dive completely into misogynistic Red Pill territory.

Nevertheless - we do want to know the harsh truths and do want the comfort of knowing other people recognise them.

It's about understanding the situation that people are in and what can be done about.

It's clear that with the rise of characters like Jordan Peterson and the manosphere that a lot of men have felt left behind by society.

I've also spent a lot of time talking and watching rad fems, gender critical and incels also. Understanding their sides has improved my understanding of their situation even if I don't agree with their solutions.

I find debate forums usually more productive at getting to truth. I can't stand echo chambers. Too many self indulgent subreddits penalise critical thought.

That and arguing with people on the internet is fun ❤️

I have read many of these as my hot thing is very similar, and even if some of them are not saying that the imbalance fro men and women in some aspects of life is natural based, is an obvious minority(maybe this is just how I perceive these articles, please change my mind if it’s the case). I don’t really care if men or women complain in here, or anywhere else for that matter, I was just asking why this debate is a thing since for me, many of the things that are said here are relatively obvious to me or I just don’t see them as a problem.
