Mix1 is a Lye Soap recipe I found on the interwebs. ( https://frugallysustainable.com/how-to-make-lye-soap/ ) Mix2 is the same ingredients just insane proportions that would likely kill you. DONT MAKE THIS! Mix3 is a homeopathic level of concentration that wouldn't clean much.

But GASP all 3 can have the same ingredient labels.

They also talk about equity not just equality. Men are bigger, we have more surface to clean. Then by equity rules we expect to pay the same for a cleaning, which requires the per volume price to be lower.

Given that food is the biggest expense for many, men should be getting more food for the same price to keep things equitable - we are bigger after all.

They pick the equality fight when it helps them or switch to the equity fight if that doesn't win them enough.

Just because they have exactly the same ingredients listed doesn't mean they're the same. Ingredients don't tell you the quantity of each ingredient used, besides their ordering from most used to least used in descending order. Both can end on the ingredient "watercress", but one may have 1% of the product be watercress and one may have 0.2% of the product be watercress. Also, ingredients like "natural flavors" are vague and can contain a huge host of different, individual natural flavors.

Let me start by saying, a lot of unnecessary hate and bullshit gets posted here. But this woman is clearly just grasping for it.

This isn't gender inequality, it's marketing. 90% of the time these items are listed at supply and demand. Let's all be honest with ourselves, mens beauty products don't typically move nearly as fast as women's. So what do you do when you have them listed in both aisles? One price goes up, while the other stays stagnant over a period of time. Doesn't happen over night, but over long periods of time with marketing teams whose sole purpose is to make money. It is solely a money thing, supply and demand, and has nothing to do with gender. The team who decides these things probably didn't even look to see what the product was, just that it was in high demand and raised the price.

The fact that they have the same ingredients doesn't necessarily imply that they have the same amounts of those ingredients.

Women's vitamins typically have the same ingredients as men's vitamins - just different proportions. Some of those ingredients are more expensive than others.

The one that gets ME is that Excedrin and Excedrin Migraine both contain exactly the same amount of the same ingredients, but the Excedrin Migraine costs several dollars more.

But I don't buy Excedrin so I'm not going to kick up too much of a fuss.

I'll just point out that they are trying to build a market targeting men the way they already target females.

That starts with creating a product and pricing it to attract new customers. When enough men are indoctrinated into the idea that they should only use products "for men" then they'll jack the price up.

They aren't doing men any favors.
