Some men don't want kids. But some men want biological kids.

You should discuss this early as to not waste each other's time because it's a very important matter that is usually a deal breaker.

Just ask if he wants kids one day.

You can't force men to accept infertility, so the only way to get around this is to be honest and upfront.

If you already know you are infertile, it makes sense to eventually disclose it, probably while talking about kids and stuff. I’d honestly probably bring it up earlier as usually stuff like kids comes up earlier if you are dating to find your future spouse.

My partner really wants biological kids, however, he’s ok with surrogacy or using other sperm if one of is infertile. I know some women who found out they were infertile after marriage. Most are religious so they weren’t ok with IVF or surrogacy but they adopted or fostered. It’s hard on the couple sometimes, but you already know so that can alleviate some of the pain of trying for years with no luck. I don’t see why adoption is a sign someone isn’t a hvm. It’s not for everyone and it can be a hard path. Some guys might find it to be a deal breaker, but I’d bet a decent amount would not find it to be a deal breaker.

I swear some people here think HVM have to be borderline narcissistic assholes. I don't see any other reason someone would believe this.

HVM can desire to adopt children.

ONLY high value men can even consider surrogacy, do you know how expensive surrogacy is?

Also there are high value men who just don't want children.

You can find high value men within these parameters.

Probably one of the most BS statements I’ve ever seen. Actually quite offensive for anyone suffering with infertility or anyone adopted.

It’s not about high quality or low quality. It’s a preference anyone can have. Just like ANY potential issue you open up to someone about this during the vetting/dating process.

I wanted a big family - and would have done anything to try to achieve it - but I have PCOS and Endometrosis, there was a possibility we'd never have had bio kids together, we were in the process of adoption/foster to adopt classes, when I finally pulled him aside and told him I didn't want to adopt if we couldn't have our own kids together, first.

Any adoption, was based on us 100% wanting to do it by choice and not because it was our only option. It took us a long time to figure out what worked with my body, but we were finally able to over-come our infertility issues to have the family we wanted together, and are still open to adoption in the future.

If a man wants kids, and loves a woman, different ways of building a family should be on the table, one of my friends had to use donor sperm because her husbands sperm count was non-existant, should she have dumped him simply because his sperm didn't work?

If a man throws away a woman he loves over this, he didn't love her in the first place. She deserves to be loved, babies aren't the only valuable thing to a man.
