What are some of the problems that you encountered on your LTR journey that no one told you about? How did you overcome them? Sooner or later honeymoon phase is over and problems start occuring.. how do you know when the little problems are no longer little? so many people stay together for years out of habit..i wonder how to avoid being stuck with the wrong person without noticing. every ltr has issues and it is important to learn from them and grow, but it is sometimes very hard because no one talks about their problems and so everyone thinks that other people's relationship is perfect and that that is how it is supposed to be. men and women are so different and it took me a long time and many mistakes to learn how to respect our differences e.g. i am very sensitive and emotional and my boyfriend is very logical and open so it is very easy for me to perceive some things that he says as impolite etc etc. we both consider self improvement as stg very important so my question is where to draw the line, how much should you invest in youself and how much in the relationship, is it truly good to focus more on your partner (being the chaser) or should it be equal. etc etc there are so many questions and you never truly know yourself until you enter a relationship and emotions take over...there is so much to learn about ourselves.. i was alone for a few years before entering my first serious relationship and i always thought that relationships are simple but there is so much i didn't know and so much no one talks about and i really hate learning everything the hard way. feel free to comment about important things you learned or about some of your struggles that you overcame
