New here! Truely have a question so please don't jump down my throat if I phrase something incorrectly or used the wrong flair. Are ugly women allowed to be RPW?

Everyone is “allowed” to be an RPW! It’s not a lifestyle or an exclusive club - it’s just a toolbox for all women to use to improve their dating/relationship strategies, if they want to.

Three things for you to think about:

First, finding a good, healthy relationship is absolutely possible with a low SMV if you are realistic about your own standards. (SMV means sexual market value; for women it means how physically attractive you are)

Second, feminine beauty is highly controllable. You have a lot of means to improve your looks. If you’re a stats geek like me, it’ll delight you to know that 63% of feminine beauty is more than 80% controllable. It is very much in your power to look as good as you can.

Third, Kayfabe is a wrestling term that “refers to the portrayal of staged events within the industry as “real” or “true.” Here’s a very relevant excerpt from that post:

The only special people in Hollywood are the very expert professional makeup and lighting and sound and production folks who are very, very good at taking your average 7.5 - 9 and making her look ethereally beautiful when on camera. The woman in the second two pictures doesn't exist. She is the highlight reel from a makeover shoot by the best illusionists in the world. She is every bit as fake as if she had been constructed entirely from computer graphics. In the future, she might be. Kayfabe.

So if you feel like you are “ugly” because you don’t look like a celebrity or an Instagram model? Don’t get too down on yourself for it. There’s a lot of Kayfabe going on to make those people impossibly beautiful on film that you don’t get to have in your real life. Don’t stress yourself with faulty comparisons and just do what you can to actually improve.

The most important thing in RP is typically awareness/self improvement. For women that will mean some different goals but it is not primarily being physically attractive. The main thing for women is about embracing actual femininity. You should learn what traits outside of sex, men actually find attractive. Now, looks do matter to the vast majority of men, but men also tend to be more realistic when it comes to looks. Most guys would take a 5 that behaves very friendly and feminine over an 8 who behaves very bitchy and masculine.

If you want to get plastic surgery that is your call to make. If you do, just be sure to do your research on your doctor and that a less is more approach can prevent you from looking fake.

Looks matter, it would be a lie to say they didn't. But all that does is gives you more opportunities. Girl game (which is what this whole subreddit is actually about, seriously did you read anything?) Is what seals the deal.

And from what I've read here, you are all very young and attractive.

It's a toolbox, not a lifestyle. It's just a different way of looking at the world of interpersonal relationships and trying to use those tools to have the life you want.

I can promise you a lot of women here are not young, slim, and pretty. Many, especially the lurkers, will be women with their own concerns about their appearances. I know this because I'm almost a decade older than you and have never been anything other than very overweight even when I have starved myself.

But I have learnt a lot about how to interact with my husband and understand our relationship that has been very valuable.

There's no Requirements before you can open the tool box and pick out the ones that suit you.

I know it sounds clichè but I don't think looks are the most important thing in the world. Being beautiful has its privileges but it also has it's downsides. I kind of like being invisible, but yet I have had zero problems attracting men and finding a husband and having children. I hear about women being cat called and hollered at every time they go outside and being bothered on a regular basis and I wouldn't want to deal with that. I like it when no one pays attention to me when I walk down the street. If you want to marry a hot guy who makes six figures then looks probably matter a lot more.

To me this subreddit is more friendly to anti feminist and conservative leaning women and that's what I like it about it.

What you see in the mirror is what you choose to see in your state of mind. Please seek talking to a counselor/therapist. There is no shame in doing so. You are already reaching out for advice to those who don't know enough about you and the possible root issues that may be in play. Make the step if you have not already to talk to a professional.

Feminine energy trumps looks. I've been attracted to a woman in a train car without knowing which one, simply because I could feel her energy. I've been attracted to a ~70 year old woman on a bus in Ukraine to the point where I remember it now 11 years later. It was her radiant energy and poise, the way she carried herself... I can't explain it; it's a mystery to me and it's one of the few mysteries in life that I truly don't want to understand.

There are youtube tantra videos of fully clothed women simply talking to the camera. The men in the comments are losing their minds because of the radiant energy they can feel even through the screen.

If that's what you read, you didn't read enough.

Most important thing to a successful LTR is your attitude. If you come at it with BP entitlement, you're not going to have a happy LTR. If you come at it with a positive, supportive, team-oriented attitude, you're much better off.

Looks get you in the door; they don't keep a man around. That's one of the things that applies more to women (hypergamy!).

Plenty of women here are neither. They're all learning what they can do to improve their SMV/RMV. And only some of that is physical.

Once you move past looks, men care about how you make them feel, not how you look. Do they feel loved, supported, trusted, and cherished? Or nagged, unappreciated, and avoided? That's on you.

Would I be allowed to learn and benefit from the philosophy being the way I am?

I'll give you an example of how to keep a man happy that ANY woman can practice. It's an old, crude saying. "To keep a man happy, keep his balls empty and his stomach full." Obviously there's more to it than that, but neither of those requires you to be attractive or fit or young. That's good advice for both an 18 year old and her grandmother.
