I like daygame. I used to approach women with the intent of getting a number. After many approaches these last 6 months, I realized her number is USELESS. I got dates sometimes after getting her number but girls give out their number like candy. Then once you have her number you lose the convincing power of your posture, muscled physique, and eye contact when you are trying to get her to go on a date with you. Something far more effective is approaching with the intent of getting a date, after you open and build rapport, ask her to grab a drink with you tomorrow night (or friday night or whenever). If she says anything other than flat out "NO" then the answer is yes. Then you get her number, and you only have to text to work out logistics.

The same applies to Tinder, you already have a medium that is nearly identical to texting, why do you need her number? After you ask her on a date, then worry about her digits. A lot of girls just sent me their number after we agreed to meet.
