Tl;Dr:

Take a moment to picture you average American male: a little over weight, definitely not in good physical shape. He probably hasn’t been laid in awhile, nothing really stands out about him. Unkempt hair, clothing on the baggy side. Now realize half the populations sites below this guy.

Body:

Rolling out of bed to take a piss in the morning, I know I’m in the top fifty percent of American males. Good friends, associates that didn’t like my style, especially exes have all at one point or another attributed characteristics such as, cocky, arrogant, narcissistic, egotistical to my being. Often with the word too in front of these adjectives, followed up by telling me I had no grounds for such a large ego. Damn them all if most of their problems couldn’t have been solved had they a little larger ego. The advice came from people with complaints of depression, social anxiety, self image issues, dudes not getting laid, working shit jobs, easily interchangeable members of our society. Larger parts of the male populations lives would drastically improve with a little more confidence in themselves.

Quickly Googling some averages and medians we start to see what the typical American male actually looks like:

49.6% of Americans make under 30k a year.

The average American caries 100k in Debt.

The average IQ in America is around 98.

Active Vocabulary of 20k.

Reads 12 books a year (my guess would have been 3).

Spends 4 hours a day watching TV (28 hours a week).

Average male height of 5ft 9in.

Weight 198.9.

Waist line of 40.

BMI of 28.6 with anything over 30 considered obese.

CDC reports only 23% of Americans get enough exercise.

Squat stats for an overall average were harder to find, the first results on Google mentions 139lb squat average for an untrained male and 209lb for a beginner. The mile being 9-10 minutes for a noncompetitive, relatively in-shape runner. As illustrated above, your average American male is closer to out of shape than possessing any form of athletic ability.

Look at how the average American male dresses. Not taking fashion into account, most guys don’t even bother with clothing that fit properly. Now take fashion into account; you know that pair of jeans you’ve had for awhile, there are rips and tears from years of wear; stained up from use as a napkin. Imagine those same issues on a pair of pajama pants. That’s what I use to run around in and just as cocky. With my long, untrimmed, shaggy hair and local headshop freebie t-shirts you got for buying over twenty-five dollars fifty-five dollars worth of tobacco pipes. Purchasing a pair of good fitting Levis and a fitted white tee will have you dressing better than a majority of the population. Sucks to say but you'll get treated more professionally too.

Essentially to answer all of those that have stood before me, pleading for reasoning why I’m so full of myself: it’s because the rest of you are not. With the bar set so low, why would I doubt myself when everyone else is full of self doubt? Look around you, you’ll see how defeated society as a whole is: boring, uninteresting, living an unexcited existence, fully unsure of themselves: a land full of consumers. Have a conversation with the general public and report back. I mean for fuck’s sake this sub is called the Red Pill because so many people fail to see and accept reality for what it is.

Conclusion:

I walk around like the big pitpull on the block, smiling, head bobbing. slowing looking side to side, a dominating strut not because I know I’m big, bad and dangerous but because the majority out there are little ankle bitters. If you’re on the lower end of the SMV scale, realize it doesn’t take much to get you to the middle. Here's a reason to fake it. If you're already in the the gym, realize you're doing better than 70% of the population.

I don't even look at the bottom 50% anymore. That’s not where my scale starts. For me I’m competing with the next level. NFL teams don’t go play high school or even college ball. 30K might be good in bum fuck Ohio but 30k ain’t shit in N.Y.C., L.A. or Miami. If you’re doing good, if you’re hitting your goals. Pat yourself on the back and start aiming higher. Don't kill the ego, back it up by getting better.
