My dad never taught me to fight bullies. Thanks to that I became a loner in highschool. I became such a polite beta that would scare ladies off because of how I literally let them step on me. People step on me. The environment I grew up in always told me to be kind, passionate, and forgiving no matter what. I never knew taking that to heart is a disaster to everything.

I'm a beginner here. I'm about to be 24, just got out of a woman who manipulated me because of my overly kind and obsessed beta personality.

I don't know where to start. I feel so much anxiety. I've started hitting the gym. But my depression is really fucking with me. Motivation drops as my anxiety shakens me everyday.

I don't feel important enough, I think I'm a lost cause musician since nobody gives a shit anyway even though I play guitar my whole life. I sing but my voice is soft and too high. Not seen masculine.

I'm a nobody. My music is going nowhere, I know I need to fix that and hit the gym at the same time, stop thinking about that one girl I fell in love with. But it feels easier said than done.

EDIT: I don't want to blame my parents for anything since they are good to me but it's only true both my dad and mom are certainly overprotective. They didn't want me to do anything violent in school so they would tell me to avoid fights and never fight anyone back, thinking that it would be effective in reducing conflict with people. No, it had the absolute opposite effect.

I'm deciding to move past that and take responsibility of who I am now. Needless to say I certainly had the mentality that if you are kinder and more giving, showing vulnerability to women the more they will fall for you, until now. I've put women on a pedestal, and that ultimate got me emotionally attached to them to the point I even cried like a pathetic baby for women I never even met. Now I'm here because I'm determined to fucking stop being like this.
