I've swallowed the pill two or three weeks ago, and started reading compulsively all the material I could find on this sub.

Yesterday night, I had sex for the first time since a year and a half. She was an Australian tinder girl passing by Paris for something with uni. I've followed every advice you gave, and it went perfectly at every step of the way.
( Notably, I held frame by talking french to her the whole time, eventhough it was obvious that she was struggling a lot.)

I have to thank everyone here for this, and for all the other ways my life is starting to get better. I don’t yet have the money to lift a lot, but I’ve been doing hundreds of push ups and crunches regularly and started buying a lot more food. Hopefully, with the christmas money, I’ll have enough to start going to a gym. My relationships with my friends and peers are also improving, as I now try talking to them on equal grounds (I’m naturally a deferential beta). I no longer care about their validation, and therefore, just try to have fun and be respected. And I think it makes me more likable in the end.

I'm very happy to have found this sub at 18. I felt my life was getting nowhere, and now, I can't wait to see and get what it has to offer, it's going to be a great ride.

PROS ; -I acquired a better bulking plan this week.

-Chicks are checking out on me more often and returning looks most of the time for a second time.

-I got my passion back about my mission and future which i felt like i lost it for the last few weeks and it helps me at the gym.

-I would get angry pretty easily but in the last 2 weeks I got better at controlling myself.

-May not be a positive for most of you lads but I'm at 13 days of NoFap (but I had 2 wet dreams in that time period)

CONS ; -My grades are not bad but not improving either.

-I was so busy midweek so i fell back on my gym schedule for this week but I'll handle it.

-I'm still trying to develop better back muscles and still not seeing the results I want.

Overall my situation is good but I'm still improving and I'm still not happy with some stuff. Keep on rocking Lads.

I hit my 18th birthday, had my first legal drink, shaved all my hair off, hit my deadlift 1RM and cut off all contact with my oneitis. Not too bad. I look forward to all my weeks of adulthood. I failed by drinking too much, not studying enough, and drunk-texting people like a fool.

Positives:

Getting more consistent with my hobbies. I work on one of them every day.
Sticking to my gym schedule.
Have been eating well for the past couple weeks.
My frame is improving. A tiny example, this guy approached me at the gym yesterday as I ended a set. We made eye contact, so I took out an earbud. Then we stared at each other for two or three seconds. I think he was expecting me to get out of the way or speak first. I just stood there and he finally asked if he could work in, to which I happily obliged. A couple months ago I would've said something like "oh, yeah man I'm sure you want to work in, uh let me get out of the way". Small example, but it's nice to know i'm improving.
Starting to use social media less. I deleted snapchat yesterday because I noticed it was consuming a lot of my time.

Negatives:

Had a bad semester in school. Nothing I can't come back from, I just need to use it as a kick in the ass to get my study habits up to where they were before.
I'm not doing well with my morning routine.
Not approaching enough, therefore not getting tons of girls recently.

new here..typical story..knew about RP for a while and been debating with myself about it going back and forth with my oneitis. Broke up months ago but i finally walked away from orbiting her 3 weeks ago and in those 3 weeks been working hard on my business and career as well as hitting the gym 5 days a week. Losing some of the relationship weight and quit smoking weed too (daily smoker for 4 years), also cleaned up my diet. Reconnecting with the homies too, 1 in particular that was always RP and calling me out on my disgusting beta ways i was blind to and in denial.. now we're on the same page. Oneitis went and got into a new relationship and tries hard to make me see and know about it. i really couldn't care less and that's the best part about my current progress, i just feel like something snapped and i'm losing my shell. Great feeling.

Positives: Been consistently going to the gym after ending a LTR a a month and a half ago, finally getting my strength levels back to where they were before the relationship(i got complacent and lazy). Eating much healthier, finally began working on a business idea that I've had for a long time that i kept putting off because of my previous relationship. Overall just taking much better care of myself. Getting laid has never really been an issue for me so I don't count it much as a positive, but I have gotten laid like 3 times since we broke up, and easily could have more had I felt like it.

Negatives:

Still fucking hung up on my ex no matter how hard I try and tell myself not to bee(she was a hb9). I haven't fucked up and texted her or contacted her in anyway shape or form, cause I know that would be stupid, but sometimes I think that's why i still feel this way(don't worry i wont give in). I know its not good for me, but I keep checking her instagram etc.. fortunately she just made it private and I had unfollowed her so now i wont be able to look at it, hopefully that helps. I know they say time heals all, so that's what I'm really hoping for; some days are better than others, and this weekend is her birthday, so maybe that is why i've been feeling like I'm in a rut again.

Positive:

Started getting into lifting these past few weeks.

Have generally not been giving a fuck at all.

Have been talking to a ton of girls at school.

Negative:

Haven’t been lifting ENOUGH, although I just started. (Not an excuse.)

Fucked up with one of the hottest girls in my grade, because her dad came upstairs and I got psyched out; wasn’t able to get fully hard. But whatever, it was a good learning experience, and pulling that girl in the first place bolstered my confidence a little bit.

Overall I’m feeling pretty good this week, but the truth of The Redpill is making me feel a little bit nihilistic and depressed.

Keeping pace physically, slowly acclimating to the leg exercises and extending the time doing them, yet to see any progress on back muscles, but that's only after 1 session of doing them after being shown them. Also running an average of 2.5 miles every time at gym for warmup and 1/2 hour cardio session. Goal for next week is to start doing daily morning exercises, just to wake myself up more and shake grogginess off, just doing 25 pushups this morning is helping. Only lost another 2 pounds, but muscles feel firmer. Going to wait another month before getting new additions to my wardrobe (starting to need them), wanna see if I can get to 210 at 6'3" by end of January.

Socially, 1 group is doing fine, yet had a awkward get together with one of my struggling male friends that I ended prematurely after he busted out his phone and shut himself off from conversation. Still in monk mode atm and not going anywhere new besides gym, looking at ballroom dancing lessons in area that might serve as substitutes for cardio sessions and learning the basics.

Made decent progress on "Rational Male" vol I but hard to keep momentum on binging interest when it's the same early articles I've read on his site before. Started listening to Patrick O'Neal, in an attempt to start listening to comedians to try to form a sense of humor I can bring to my conversations. Anyone else have any recommendations on comedians, particularly those with good material about society?

workout schedule been a little fucked because I've had some shit to do
my cheeks are feeling too chubby. as is my body (still have a six pack thoughhhhh). I'm ready for this bulk to end soon.
current BW: 84-85kg. starting January I'm going to look to drop to about 80-81kg (which Ill look SHREDDED). face is really where I want to get definition back.
Measured lung capacity: 6l. ~1.8l above average in my age group and gender. measured w/o lung packing which I've now learned. think I could do way better now that I've learned lung packing.

Positives: Just found this subreddit today, so not much research done, I read some Motivation Manifesto before, but still I'm quite ignorant to lots of stuff.

First gym session since ages, and I feel much better.

I'm quite ignorant to lifting, but fuck it, will research and learn while going there everyday.

Waiting till next week for €£¥$, so I can upgrade my diet and make small changes to the wardrobe.

Negatives: I'm still kind of hesitant regarding drop of oneitis and adaptation of some of the concepts, but I guess that I don't know enough to discuss these with you.

Tbh My last 3 years were wasted, or could be described as such, so I am not gonna waste time any more. Hope I could write a bit more informed post next week with some reflections.

Positive:

NoFap for 1 month as of today.
Still reading Meditations every day.
Meditating is still habitual.
Persistent gym-going. Best shape I've been in.
I'm beginning to really 'get over' my ex. It's been difficult, since I talk to no other women (hoping to change this), however I had my first day off work on Monday and had a complete breakdown in the morning. I journalled >6000 words of introspection and reflection, and the conclusion of it all was how I'm now able to look to the future and appreciate the progress I've made and being able to visualize how much more progress I'll make within the next 6 months or so. Over the last few months I've seen futility in all the work I've been putting in, and have been very hard on myself and completely non-self-rewarding for my efforts. I've been looking backwards and my old mindset of "girls won't find me attractive, my ex was the only one I'll be able to be sexual with" came creeping back. Now, however, I'm more motivated daily because I'm able to look forward to how I'll progress, look forward to getting back to Uni, and look forward to encountering new women and developing connections with them - both physical and emotional.
I'm enjoying my job more, and I think this is because I'm generally more positive all-around.
I'm more confident around people. It's interesting really: Since I've gotten into a more positive mindset, my natural behaviours are more attractive.
Went out solo last Friday. Kissed a HB7 and got her number. Ghosted me, but it felt great to receive that validation. As toxic as that may sound, I believe it's positive.

Negative:

Fucked up 'being organized' for my trip next Friday. Because of this, I'm now skipping my time in Brussels and probably fucked up a train or two.
I want to further reduce my carb intake. Having free fruit at work isn't helping this so I just need to cut out the fruit completely. It's either 99% or 100%, and as soon as you commit to 100%, shit gets much easier.
I still spend a lot of time being run by my mind and thinking about my ex. Yeah, "time's a healer", but I'm still wanting to try and observe my thoughts when they come around, rather than being overrun by them. Getting out each weekend (as I'm doing) and going interrailing and meeting new people should help the 'getting over her' process.
I've still got shit-tonnes of clothing to be sold, and am still buying the odd bit. I need to completely restrict purchasing until I really hone in on what I genuinely want/need and hone in on my personal style. Having so much clothing from different styles makes forming outfits less fun and it's actually been adding to my underlying sense of anxiety quite a bit. This problem must be solved after New Years.

The Good:

Have solidified that I am the fucking man at work. I get shit done and don’t bitch. Despite being on a failing project with shitty developers.

Gym 100% on point. Diet on 80.

Reading two books currently and learning agile methodology for work.

The Bad:

Lost a two plates in a new city. Normally would not care but it’s hard to get new plates in a new city so a bit butt hurt about it.

Drinking more, could be stress. Doesn’t help with physical goals.

Misc/General

Started to make lists, and actually check them with Wunderlist;
Commited to a maximum of 5h of PC per day (not 12h/day as usual);
On my way to finish a book of 500 pages, first book this year;
Bought new things for my room to make it prettier;
Gone to football event as I'm usually a shut-in;
Sent Secret Santa gift;

Academics

Finished an important project and started a new one;
Aced 1 of my exams;
Gone do a gathering for school related project;

Negative:

Postponed 2 exams due to laziness, the next time they will be harder;
Can't keep NoFap straight for more than 3 days;
Have a lot to recover at school, I didn't go because I was lazy;
Again, I didn't take my back X-Ray so the doc can give me the ok to lift;
Didn't sleep well at all the whole week;
I always forget to meditate;
I'm always in an aggittated mood, and I have to wait for the next year to get blood tests. I don't know what else keeps me in this anxious mood, maybe overthinking;
Gotta stop using Facebook so much;

Overall rating 7 - could be better.

I started monk mode a few days ago. It was okay at first. I had some university classes and work every day, but now it's Sunday. I keep picking up my phone and putting it back down. I keep opening Reddit on my laptop, then closing it when I realize what I'm doing. Usually, I'd watch a series just to have something to occupy my mind and browse Reddit aimlessly to keep myself distracted, so it's weird to sit here and not know what to do with myself. I guess I could think of a few things I should do, but instead I'm sitting here, so out of energy from doing nothing, that all I can do is nothing.

I've been doing a lot of reading - The Rational Male, Illimitable Man, and the TRP Handbook. It's been great. But I also know that's not all I should be doing in monk mode. I want to write, I want to work out, I want to do something, but I'm finding it so hard to find the energy to do any of it. On a positive note, I did manage to get writing last night. Probably written more last night than I have in the entire five years prior.

Nearly done with the semester.
Continuing success with my SL 5x5. On Wednesday I successfully completed 5x5 of Squats with the 45lb plates. Considering few weeks ago I was at the bar, big achievement for myself.
Making it a point to talk to more people.Been talking to some guys in the gym who have been giving me tips and pointers.
In 1 of my classes, we had to direct a live mini tv show. Directing in a live environment is extremely hectic, but I was stoic when I put the headset on and called my commands. A year ago I would have been an anxious mess.
No porn since Sunday. Haven't masturbated either, but I am focusing on doing no porn.

Bad

Did not have a clean diet this week. It was my birthday weekend so I splurged quite a bit.

Steps:

Went shopping for fashion to help look hawt
Went out for a friend's going away party, it was fun, but I already had too few friends.

Fails:

Neediness in the relationship with the girl I'm seeing. She has more of a life, more friends that me. (ie I have none).
Made the mistake of going exclusive with her after I saw her 3x in a week. Now she doesnt have time for me? What a mind fuck. I'd be fine with just her if she was available. Now I'm oneitising/hamstering if I should just cut her loose, reneg on my word or what? advice would be appreciated.
Been oneitising like a cuck on this girl, checking my phone all the time for texts, wishing she'd just come hangout. Things are great when we're together, but its too infrequent for what I want.

This week's goals:

Go out to meetups to try and invest in getting some friends
Figure out, concretely, what I would think would make my life "awesome". Sadly I cannot rely on others to join me.
Do not contact this girl unless she initiates it. Sadly this probably meets I'm not going to see her until mid January because of christmas/holidays

Joined a gym after spending the last 10 months working out at home.

Having access to heavier weights has resulted in 6 lbs weight lose (down 166 lbs from 172 lbs) with noticeable gains.

Also noticing more attention from women as a result. Before girls would flirt but now they're more awestruck and I get to lead the conversation.

Went to a party last night with the intent of gaming a few girls. Everything was going well but I made the mistake of hitting a dab pen which made it nearly impossible to talk to anyone, much less flirt with girls. I regret getting so high; I could've gotten a lot more out of last night but at least I learned from my mistake.

New deadlift PR 5x5 115kg Changed up my routine on other compounds from 5x5 due to stagnation and focusing more on form/higher reps at slightly lower weight. Got a top grade for an assignment.

Negatives would be that other than gym yesterday I've been unproductive this weekend. Need to start reading again. Need to get back into my regular workout and boxing after 2 weeks away on business where I could only really do compounds and a few other exercises and was limited in time. Also need to increase social interactions (work 9-5 gym straight after except wednesdays) and start talking to girls

Been lifting for 51 days straight and just hit a 150 lb overhead Press for two clean reps. Girls are more receptive to me and this 17 year old was flirting with me at work today and when she found out I was 21 she started flirting harder. I might do some cold approaches in a bit because my confidence is so high right now and I don't give a fuck.

-Reduced weight for the Rows -> form over ego

-I was really chill when going out with a friend. I focused on having fun first, which made opening people very natural and I did have nearly no approach anxiety. Focusing to much on approaching instead makes me really akward.

Negative:

-ate too less, to maximize gains

-A nice woman a decade older than me asked me for a dance and got very close by herself. I think I "scared" her away. I didn't look for her reactions much while increasing touching very fast, probbably too fast for her. I think I should have concentrated more on eye contact+facial expression in the beginning.

Have to get back to work, only really have time to say that my study habits have greatly improved. If I get sidetracked I'm a lot more invested in getting back on track, partly due to my pre-RP ideas but a lot because of the ethic I've developed from focusing on a Mission and not giving a fuck otherwise.

Career/Uni: Worked hard throughout my semester and landed a 3 month internship last week with a big bank. I am working in credit risk department. My summer break is nicely filled with an internship.

Hobby: Been learning guitar for 8 months now. I can finally play intermediate level stuff and taking classes on music theory and improvisation. I wanna join a band and write my own albums someday. Guitar has replaced my previous hobby of video games. I play guitar after work. Sometimes an hour of xbox before bed lol.

Social Life: Moved in to Australia last year and so far know a few people. None I can call friends. I am a semi-introvert and can't stand fake people. So, no progress here. My weekends are spent on self improvement (learning career skills such as coding or I practice guitar). Plenty of girls here, but I never thought girls are worth investing time on. I am not attractive either so it doesn't help (5'7). I want to get laid so bad though. It feels so bad, I see a lot of hot girls in train everyday to work. I go home and jerk off to keep my head clear so I can focus on things.

Physique: I am a broke student so I cannot afford gym or the diet required to get buff. I just run for 2.5 miles 4 days a week. I have a clean diet and slim body.

Please advise me what I could be doing better. I am 26.

Started a schedule and a no fap today. Idk why it feels so hard but I think I need this to sort of breakthrough my habits and become stronger within my mind. Waking up earlier helps me get a lot more accomplished throughout the day. I’m running 2 miles a day every week and doing about 20-30 push-ups/ sit-ups 3 times our of the day. It’s just a start but better than nothing.

Got back from college and did almost no exercising, went to bed late everyday, and haven't even been shopping for gifts.

With a random stroke of motivation and willpower, I am now starting to figure out what I am going to do over the break, what will my diet look like? What will my exercises look like?

Also if anyone knows any good workouts/programs with only dumbells and barbells and no machines, that would help.

Thanks all, I have noticed my life getting better since TRP. Easier to talk to others, easier to make friends, less stress, more happy, lifting more, and I lost about 20 pounds.
