This common idea on TRP used to puzzle me until I understood how it came about:

TRP tells the truths of Game it inherited from PUA: that you don't get women by pursing them, or putting them on a pedestal. That to get pussy, you need to be high value (higher value than her), that you need to be/act uninterested/aloof/indifferent, that you need to get them to chase you.
The message above is repeated/deformed/misunderstood on TRP being an echo-chamber overrun by newbies. The message gets strip down to its bare bones: "Don't pursue women!".
A lot of guys come here who are NOT successful with women at all. They read the message above and gladly accept it because it's a fantastic buffer against their biggest fear: rejection. They then share that idea and it spreads to other newbies. Oh and also of course they also share their dislike of PUAs and all those who focus on Game, because obviously it means they put the pussy on a pedestal. Ah, the beta losers!
The circle is closed. The sub slowly fills with people who reject the ideas on which TRP is founded, with the mods having to work hard to contain the contagion by banning regularly.

Gonna write this as simple as I can.

I have a friend who has a SMV lower than mine. I’ll return to this but let me give you a brief explanation.

He focuses on getting laid and getting laid only. He lifts, he has a job which is stress free, lots of free time but with an average income. He has hobbies, does charity so he is not a PUA but he has lived in this city most of his life, pretty much knows everybody that went to his university...

If all you do is chase pussy 24/7 then you'll be a pretty boring person otherwise. However, couldnt you easily make the case that even if pussy is your main motivator, what really matters is how you direct that motivation?

It's fine to focus on pussy. But there are 2 important things to remember:

Never focus on any one pussy. Focus on "getting pussy" if you want, but never an individual chick.
If instead of focusing on pussy, you focused on getting into the best shape of your life, achieving your life's mission, pursuing active/ creative hobbies, and maintaining a tight group of men your respect- Well, if you focus on those, you'll have much more success getting pussy. In fact, it will practically fall into your lap.

First: Actively going after pussy is a worthwhile aim. Nobody said anything about it being your only aim. In fact, my life started to improve tremendously when I shed some of my conservative, stuffy upbringing and accepted that I really do just want pussy, and using pussy as a motivator to train harder, dial in my diet, dress and groom well and become conscious of my frame is perfectly valid and useful. I think the difference is between pedestalizing the idea of simply getting pussy (something usually done by those who don't do so regularly), and pedestalizing yourself as a pussy-slayer in an ideal life where it's abundant.

The latter isn't inherently beta. You are doing it for yourself, and it's impossible to achieve without tackling some core self-improvement issues which you would also benefit from in other ways anyway.
