im sorry that this is offtopic but kind of just need some one to talk to and get feedback from.

Im a 21yo guy currently studying a standardized test for med school which brings along its own stresses. Ive never been much of a partier, always more drawn to smaller groups/day activities.

I have quite a few casual friends but 1-2 real best friends.

Ive never had a girlfriend and this breaks me down a lot. all i ever see is people on instagram with their partners or people hooking up and all that.

Studying for my exam now, im not exactly putting myself in situations to meet girls nor am i expecting one to just fall in my lap.

However, it gets kind of depressing being alone and it makes me feel like im not deserving of it. I lift, ive been told i look good but i also have my own insecurities (im short- 5'7) and just no confidence when it comes to girls due to lack of experience.

and it takes a toll on my motivation for medical school. I know i'll be much busier in medical school and i keep feeling like if im alone now, i'll be alone then.

How do you deal with this feeling? Will it get better?

thanks for any advice but no need to say "go see a therapist". its not that serious, just needed to get it off my chest.
