This shouldn't really surprise any of us. Its well known that seduction material, or rather the idea that men can learn how to become more seductive, more attractive, and more sexual naturally disgusts women and likewise any white knights.

Also, the techniques in any standard PUA material can easily be taken out of context as sexual assault, but the same can be said of your typical sex advice on Cosmo. (And I should add that I , and probably many others on this thread, have used the exact method described by the guide and not once has a girl accused me of sexual assault.) What happened in this instance was that women felt a natural disgust towards "seduction material" and used out of context sentences to justify their disgust. Also kickstarter is one of those private capitalist company which pretends to take up some morale high ground by saying stuff like "creative projects make a better world", and its image is compromised by funding PUA material.

Personally, I'm happy that they are taking this stance. Less alphas, more betas, more women for me.

First, there is no taking back money from the project or canceling funding after the fact. When the project was funded the backers’ money went directly from them to the creator. We missed the window.

Or maybe it was a clever way to let the project get funding but avoid the backlash? Though I may be giving them too much credit here.

Those comments and the level of aggression against Tofu are headache inducing. Someone mentioned mob mentality, and this reminded me of a scene from The Witcher. Spoilers ahead.

A small village is infested by a plague. There are ghost like dogs wandering at night. A child is seemingly possessed. People are dying everywhere. Evidently, this is a shitstorm, and it's all falling hard on the village witch.

As it turns out, their biggest problem, wasn't the witch's fault. The specter was created through the evil that the people in the village had done. The priest finds his unwed daughter pregnant? Why, send her to a whore house in the city! Random rich guy tries to kill his brother in his sleep for his money. Corrupt trader sells arms to the elves. Random guy rapes some girl, who then kills herself.

The specter that caused them all this harm was a direct consequence of their evil.

Manginas, feminazis, and uptight bitches dying miserable, fat, unfulfilled will be the direct consequence of their general idiocy. I don't believe in karma, but one can't stick a needle up one's ass and then expect to shit rainbows. Of course there will be blood, and of course it will suck. But hooray, you did it to yourself.

Those comments make me angry. I know those dickheads. I went to school with them. I am friends on Facebook with some of them. I probably walk past them down the street every day. And I hate them all. Is it so hard to say "fuck these dicks, I will think for myself"....well, I guess groupthink is definitely easier on frightened brains and fragile egos.

It just pisses me off that feminists have SO MUCH fucking power in society these days (and for past decades). They pretty much have the power to censor anything they don't agree with and they know they've got maybe millions of people to back them up. There's no such thing as freedom of speech when we've got this disparity of power.

I remember just recently, they protested against one of Rick Ross's verses on a song. Rebok (which was sponsoring Ross) had to fold down because it would be terrible for their business.

I can't put all the blame on Kickstart because...well, they're still a business with financial interests. They realize the feminists hold much greater power than MRAs, so they'll fold to them no matter what.

This is why we need more MRAs and more unplugged people.

I can only imagine that they would consider removing a project if it said something along the lines of "if she says no, fuckin punch her in the fuckin face repeatedly."
