I recommend the 50th law by the same author, it was co-written with 50 Cent I think. It focuses on fearlessness and relentlessly pursuing one's goals. It is not often mentioned here even though I think it should.

As someone who tried to kill himself about three months ago, and who has been through the emotional meat grinder, what I have seen you write is little more than a sophomoric infomercial about 'how to make it'.

In the must-read books I'll add "Flow - The optimal experience" by ‎Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. It's one of the most cited psychology researches and the book's contents go far and beyond what "getting in the flow" is. For example, in his introduction he's walking in red pill grounds, saying how society always struggled with the concept that we're living in an indifferent universe towards our needs, pains and pleasures, and the things we came up with to put some "order" in the chaos (religion that puts rules and promises of an afterlife, excessive pleasures). It's a really good book.

I got some questions about the Trello board method:

1) What do you do if a task is meant to be repeated daily, like "do exercises" or "go to the gym"? Do you create a new card that you move to the "Finished" list every day you do it?

2) What's the major difference between goals and projects? Say that I want to learn guitar to play the songs of an artist I like. Will "play X song" be a project, and the goals will be smaller things?

Fuck therapists, IMO the best way to take care of mental issues is to just shut yourself out and sort it out. I spent years and years and years on all sorts of meds and seeing all sorts of doctors and it never did shit, all that is just a bandaid.

I totally turned my life around by just taking a couple months off of work and friends and everything and just spending as much time alone as possible. Every day in that time just have an idea of who you want to be, the best version of yourself, and use that to shape your mentality and thoughts as much as possible. Once you get rid of all the bullshit you can really focus in on who you are and what you're insecure about. This allows you to come out a totally different person.

If you can learn to be happy and content with no purpose and no one else then everything else becomes auxillary, and your life becomes a whole lot easier.

Well, to be honest, I believe that if you can do NOFAP you also can quit any bad habit. Don't know about drugs, but porn releases the most dopamine naturally possible. So if you can quit porn you can also quit any use of natural substances - goes for alcohol, tobacco, food etc.

NOFAP is the ultimate test of selfdiscipline. I didn't make it to 90 days though, my max was 64.

Also No-Fap is overrated. As long as you aren't a habitual jacker-offer to where its holding you back you'll be fine. Limit yourself to like 5 times per week or less. Sometimes this sub acts like fucking multiple girls daily is the only way to measure success when I really couldn't be bothered by that bullshit. Spot on OP.. This entire posting sounds eerily similar to my life for the past 8-9 months-ish. Lifting and meditation did the most for me. Along with smaller short term goals along the way.

Either way dropping 40lbs of fat and packing on slabs of muscle has helped increase my overall quality of life by multitudes. Along with some major wardrobe changes as well. Keep up the progress fellas.

I love these kinds of posts, I'm doing most of this, namely diet, no fap, cold showers, gym, I've lost 20+pounds in 2 month and yet I'm still feeling pretty much the same. Not feeling much more confident, not feeling much more powerful, not feeling much more productive, not feeling much more sociable. I had moments of euphoria after implementing successfully those routines but it is just illusion and it quickly worns out and then you're still the same person. These monk mode routines just give you a framework, a background, but if you want to improve specific points you have to do specific exercises. The monk mode routines aren't the limiting resources to becoming alpha for everyone.

Excellent post. The hyaluronic-acid injections are interesting to me. I have a fairly symmetrical face, but I have slightly bulgy eyes. I am going to look into this.

Also getting off facebook and 90-day no fap are great steps as well that I need to take. Thanks for sharing the summary of your hard work.
