This place doesn't advocate that you abandon your identity in order to fulfill someone elses idea of "Alpha"

What it does do is

Teach you how to fuck attractive women
Advocates and gives guidance on how to better yourself physically, mentally and socially

Women don't want to fuck betas. Now there may be women that value kindness, honesty, decency, truly connecting with a guy.

But what kind of guy do they want to show those characteristics?

Every now and then, your advice probably works for an outlier, but that's the problem.

The general advice stemming from the redpill is based on understanding the reality of sexual selection and mate preferences of women. Men don't get to make the rules. Most men, who are born without top tier genetics, have to work to become more attractive to women.

Most men are not here because they want the redpill to be true. For many, it's about facing a somewhat ugly reality - ugly mostly because we were misled about what women find attractive. In short, we were gullible men who listened to the women in our lives about how to act, etc. Many have wasted precious years of youth without an optimized body or personality and have suffered the consequences. It's about wasted opportunities and the suffering it creates.

So before you tell us to wait any longer for a unicorn, consider that many have waited far too long and trying to play catch up. If we do find a special girl that meshes with us, all the better.

I started out having the urge to be a man, and over time that part of me got buried. So, let's set the scene. You're a young guy, maybe 20-30, perhaps older. It doesn't really matter. You've probably had some prior experience with women. Or maybe you haven't, and you're bitter about it. Maybe you consider yourself unattractive, undesirable socially. You have strange interests. You like watching Netflix more than going to the gym. People on here will tell you many things. They'll throw some poorly conducted studies at you and tell you their interpretation of the data, ignoring variables, correlation vs. causation, and source. You see, these same people brag about how brilliantly analytically minded they are, but don't bother to look at their own data with a critical eye. They're swayed by confirmation bias. But you see these studies too, and wow, on paper they look pretty great. This way of living might have some validity! Maybe you should look into this "red pill".

I actually am an analytic masters in philosophy, going phd, and I'll admit first hand most redpill posts follow the trend of those who are solipsistic and run on sample bias.

Dear Female OP,

Two quick things:

The main gist of your post is to encourage men to better themselves. Well said. We may disagree on the nuances or motivations, but we agree on the main point.
For the overwhelming majority of human history, women have had to rely on men to defend them from other horrible men. I know this is an "inconvenient truth" but you have been relying on men your whole life - as have the rest of us. OP, I commend you for attempting to breathe a different ideology in to TRP, however, the reason we come here is because we've tried the things you tout--and gotten wrecked as a result. In a perfect world, we'd be able to be our weirdest, strangest, oddest selves and some weird girl would find that endearing and we'd live happily ever after. However, that's now how it works at all. Speaking as someone who's tried the whole "be yourself" narrative and gotten burned--multiple times (i.e. catching them in bed with someone else whereas a few short months ago they were showing up at my door begging me to love them)--it's honestly not sound advice. Especially if you already struggle with finding a romantic partner.

The TRP may represent a different ideology, but it has many nuggets of truth.
