TLDR: Obsessing over theory and game might be holding you back.

Was just thinking about my early 20s, I doubt I knew what an alpha was, never heard of terms like AWALT or watched any pickup videos. My mind was rarely on women. At times I’d feel lonely and think about getting a girlfriend but 90% of my time was spent obsessing over my biz and taking over the local nightlife scene. I became a very popular nightclub promoter. Lots of things happened but 2 instances I still remember. After one of my parties a lady asked me what I was up to. She looked vaguely familiar. This was around 2am. I said I was gonna crash at a hotel. I dont recall what she said to me exactly but somehow she ended up in a cab with me. I didn’t initiate anything I wasn’t thinking about her. I remember the front desk lady asked “1 bed or 2”. The groupie immediately said 1. We went up to the room, I dont recall who initiated it was very organic but the point is we smashed. Never bought her a drink never took her to dinner didnt have her number, etc. She was prob 8/10 maybe 9. Everybody in that scene new my name.

The other woman that comes to mind approached me around that time in my life and the first words out of her mouth were “Do you have a girlfriend?”. I replied “What is this about”. Then she said “Do you like me?”. I said go to the dj booth wait for me there. Cant believe I still remember it word for word. This girl was a 10/10 blonde. An hour or two later mid convo with vips I realized I forgot about her, I turned to look at the dj booth- she was still standing there waiting for me. I forgot about her again never made it to the dj booth. Worth noting I thought I was God back then. I think I was a good person deep down but definitely on a power trip.

Fast forward to present. I’m older, richer, abs, style. But I’m not nearly as driven, not on a mission, self-esteem lower if I’m being honest, but these days I know a ton about game, red pill, all of that. I want women these days, I care about the outcome. As a result it’s waaaayyyyy harder now. I still pull, my lifetime bodycount is around 80 but these days I get rejected all the time, girls flake on me all the time, cause I dont have the status. Occasionally I meet a woman who falls hard for me but lots of mids have no respect for me and are not attracted to me ( despite me knowing it all: frame, sht tests, etc ).

So my advice is spend 90% of your energy becoming somebody and 10% learning game. Not other way around. It’ll blow your mind how smooth hot women are at shooting their shot when they believe you’re that guy. It’s a myth that men shoot their shot. No, no women, gorgeous women shoot their shot all the time and some are incredibly smooth & subtle with it.

I had a woman fall asleep at my house party once never seen her before. Woke up everyone is gone she’s still at the house crashed on the couch. I said hi, small talk. She got down on her knees and started blowing me. I used no pickup lines on her, wasn’t trying to “close”, she made it happen, ( prob so she could brag that she hooked up with me). I’m not saying game is not important. Everything on this sub is super important, but you can’t study your way to alphaville. Spend most of your time doing not overthinking. Do something with your life so others drop your name. Pulling is so easy when she already respects you before you open your mouth.
