We have all this talk related to how women have a inflated sense of their own SMV, due to the fact that they can obtain (non-committal) sex from a man a few points above them.

I wanted to turn this on men:

  1. What do you believe, based on what women value and what you have to offer (At this present time) what your female "equivalent" is?

  2. What kind of women have you been consistently able to attract, and is this kind of women consistent with your own evaluation of the women you think you "should be getting"?

I'll go first:

1-I believe my female equivalent is around a 6/10. I make a lot of money for my age (~95,000 a year at 28), have a body in the top 5-10% of men and dress well. however, I have a smaller frame, babyface with inability grow and facial hair. I very fit man with small frame in non-masculine appearance is lower on the physical hierarchy than a cute girl that is very fit. my face is average/slightly above average. This all knocks down any potential for me to be a guy women look at and say "he's really cute" or "he's really hot". But it is what it is.

2-I consistently am able to attract women around the 4/10-5/10 range, with the occasional 6/10. I have been with around 30-35 women. I do not think I have ever been with a girl that can be called objectively "hot". The women I can attract consistently seem to be 1-2 points below my self perceived evaluation of my SMV.

I hope that with continued lifting over the next 1-2 years I will be able to raise myself to a 7/10 at least. Work in progress.

Does anyone else have similar experiences? How does it line up for you?
