There is a recent post on a confessions type subreddit with a wife venting about friends being abused by their wives/gfs and the number of pickme comments is insane.

Like a woman criticizing another woman somehow immediately makes her a pickme and invalidates her statement.

They attacked her husband over it as well, like he must be the problem if they are being abused. It was so gross to read those comments

I was in Des Moines, Iowa on Valentine’s day years ago. There was a special Valentine’s day section for Singles in the newspaper. In that section, there was an article that centered on 3 matchmakers, 2 women and 1 man. One woman no longer accepted women as clients. Why? Women were too unreasonable in who they were looking for in a man and were also high maintenance. The man charged $1,000 more for a woman because women were more demanding than men. The other woman would deal with female clients for only a certain period of time. If she felt the client was too demanding or unreasonable, she not allow them to renew their member ship.

Even women recognize the bullshit, at least in other women. The issue is that delusion is expensive. Only in a land of wealth and bounty can such nonsense persist. It is all coming to a head now that everything is on the decline and men everywhere have already been bled dry.

It boils down to the basics.

Women want a man that can, and will, give them everything.

Men wants a woman that will give him herself.

Whether that's her body, her mind, her love, her emotions, etc etc.

That's what it comes down to. It's easy to see how a woman's expectations can be unrealistic in comparison.

A lot of you guys are commenting about the experiences of entitlement you had from women. I'm curious though: have you guys ever tried vetting women for signs of sacrifice? I have this theory that maybe if a woman is engaged in an activity where there is a benefit to others but no clear benefit to her, that the compulsion to perform that act might actually come from a place of good character. Like if she volunteers in a soup kitchen and does not have a chain of Facebook selfies of her doing it.

Any of you guys ever encounter women that do this sort of stuff? I suppose you might actually need to go to a soup kitchen to find one like this but I suppose the question is whether or not you guys find women who volunteer to be more grounded?

Consider the type of woman that would engage a professional matchmaker - 30s or 40s, white collar type job, moderate-high income. As far as successful, happy marriages go, this is not going to be the ideal demographic.
