Long story short - my LTR and I have recently moved into a new house. I have been financially saving for years and therefore have a solid bank of cash available for home improvements etc. She, comparatively, has very little. As a result, I am funding 95%+ of the upfront house purchase cost and immediate furniture costs etc.

What I am struggling with is the line between owning your shit, sorting out what we need for the house and paying for it vs being a Beta provider?

It irks me a bit that I am funding almost everything, without any real sign of appreciation / acknowledgement of what I contribute or that my contribution seems to greatly exceed hers (validation seeking / covert contract?)

I was considering asking her to sign some sort of legal document such that if we were not together anymore and sold the house, we would each recoup what we put into it first before splitting the remainder. Anyone done anything similar to protect themselves financially?

I fully expect to be called out for some form of faggotry but any advice appreciated.
