7 years is a very long time to be with someone. It will take more than a few months to get over her. Give yourself 1-3 years, but it’ll keep getting better along the way. You’re virtually powerless against your thoughts and feelings, but you have full control over your actions. So continue to do things that helps you move on; continue your life, build your career, grow your wealth, work out, socialize, date again, etc.

I’m curious though, how old are you? And how were you with someone for so long without tying the knot or something. Did she leave because of the lack of further commitment? This is something you should keep in mind for next time. Forget some of the unreasonable redpill edicts and tie down a good woman you don’t want to lose after a reasonable couple of years of dating. And if she’s not good for you it shouldn’t take you 7 years to know that.

Pretty much in the exact same boat as you. Few months out of 7 year relationship and also having trouble getting over it. I’m only 23 and still building career, finishing school. Wasn’t really prepared to go through with marriage or kids at this point and it’s the only relationship I’ve really had. Feel like since we started dating at such a young age, I kind of just got comfortable and stuck with it for way too long. The way I see it is I’m still young, the relationship taught me a lot about what I should be doing and what I want out of one but now I gotta get out there, do some real exploring and eventually find a woman that really suits me.

Also, it’s helped me to look at the bright side of things with the breakup. All my focus can be dedicated to my own growth instead of having a woman to satisfy on the side. And she probably didn’t suit me as well as I had thought anyways. Why the fuck would I settle? One life to live

Tbh that happens to me from time to time too. It's normal but you need to het out of that phase ASAP. Start by unfollowing her on social media, delete her number,pics etc.

Start working on yourself,do things that you like and read plz seriously read some good books. Also don't stress about forgetting her too much,once the locdown is over and ur busy life start automatically you'll have no time to think about her.

I would recommend to feel the pain and cry bout it it's okay. It helps in numbing the pain trying to meet more of your friends, try to socialise with the neighbors.

Best advice do what you used to do when you were single. A lot of trauma is based on the fact that now you don't know how to live without this person

I don’t know. I’ve tried everything. Nothing has worked. Same situation as u except It’s been a couple years. If anything works for u, let me know. I’ve been lifting for over a decade so it’s just like brushing my teeth at this point and offers zero therapeutic benefit. New women also haven’t been much consolation. I think men love like that once and once only.

Along with lift weights, talk to girls, and meditating i have something specific you should try. A good therapist gave me this advice years ago. I might be unusual but it has helped me in the past. What your mind is doing is having anxiety over the fear of the unknown. How to get that treated? I can give you a long scientific answer but ill keep it simple. You need mental stimulation. This can be chess, coding, alcumus math, or one of those brain training apps. You need to find a technical hobby that allows you to problem solve and analyze to the max. Make your mind use as much brainpower as possible in order top rewire your neurons. It's like demolishing an old skyscraper to make room for a new building. You will notice that you will gradually stop thinking of her over the next few weeks. Try it for a week before you have doubt.

I'm discovering this myself now as I get deeper into red pill approach and as I get older. Someone who truly meant the world to you...and didn't want that from you, or hurt you in a major way...you will never get over her.

What you resist persists. Stop fighting it. The more you try to fight thinking about her the more you'll think about her. Just accept you dated a very long time and it's going to take a very long time to stop thinking about her. Once you accept that and stop fighting it you will be surprised how quickly you stop thinking about her so much
