I have had great success with having a fun light hearted conversation via text. Don't text too much, just every few hours and make her smile when checking her phone. One girl told me her friends/parents asked her who she was texting because she was smiling so damn much.

Makes her have the emotional roller coaster - "why isn't he texting me for hours? Is he even interested?" to "oh my god, he is so funny/cute" etc.

Sometimes I feel like the majority of TRP text game is the art of helping complete noobs quit cucking themselves by saying too much and revealing their virginity. "Text for logistics only" is a general rule. It's to prevent newbies from killing attraction with inane text messages and lack of anticipation and mystery.

If you're going to turn a girl into a plate you need to give some comfort, and often that is over text. Just don't overdo it. Since you're experienced (you said you're a chad), you already know this from the previous women you've been playing with.

This is a very good point you've brought up. As many have pointed out, it's best understood as a hard rule for inexperienced guys so they don't get caught up in unproductive texting that never leads further.

I've found it best to apply more strongly before you've met and escalated physically. In online dating, once you've made a connection, push for a first meeting sooner than later. If they won't commit to a meeting, you're in her stable of orbiters and probably being used for textual validation only.

Once you've met and she's delivered what YOU want (physical contact), it's fair dinkum to give her some of what SHE wants, some social dopamine fix.

You want to keep it on YOUR terms, and deliver on an intermittent reinforcement schedule. One young GF told of college boys who would autistically wait exactly one hour to respond to a text, you could set the master atomic clock by it.

Models of knowledge will only take you so far, then you have to DIY/Trial & Error/Freestyle and so on and so on.

Do not interpret TRP as a literal seduction Magic Pill; although it's one of the closest things to this, still, it is not it.

After sleeping with a chick you should ease the gas off the aggressive seduction game and build comfort. Aloof Beta-esque.

This is an excellent opportunity to take the pain of your experience to ingrain the lesson that executing commands robotically doesn't work in the long term because this is reality and in reality girls operate (partially) like humans. The redpill has taught me abundance and to lose, or at least not show any neediness. I think it swung me too far in the indifferent department. I have lost a couple of amazing girls due to being too cold and indifferent. This is in regards to texting for logistics only and from withholding verbal affection.

I think when you're first courting a girl, it's wise to keep texting to a minimum and to keep compliments and verbal affection near zero. However, as the weeks and months progress, girls need some comfort. Not texting all day or shower with compliments comfort, but they need some kind of carrot to know they aren't chasing a cold fish.

I used to be too needy, now I'm too much of a cold fish. After an amazing girl left me because she thought I didn't care, I've been introducing a bit more texting with girls I've already been out with and fucked a few times, and it draws them closer to me. I still seldom initiate the contact, but I'll send a few back and forths when she reaches out. I'll sometimes reply quickly and sometimes take hours. If a girl is reaching out, she's chasing. If a girl is chasing, she won't leave or ghost you. She needs more comfort and appreciation than I've been giving in the past.

The redpill is amazing and changed my dating life over the years, but I think it fails in some ways at explaining the specifics behind showing a little comfort and appreciation and turns many people into overly indifferent creatures that will push many women away.

Don't ever be needy, but don't be overly cold. Find that happy balance. If you can't text if you're busy, tell the girl it is so good to hear from her and you love it when she texts, but you're busy and can't chat and you're looking forward to kiss those sexy lips (whenever you're seeing her next). This is 1,000 times better than ignoring or giving a 2 word response (unless her initial text was a short, low effort one of course). You aren't texting all day but the girl knows you are happy to hear from her and she'll continue reaching out and chasing. This is what will give her butterflies and feel comfortable enough with you to let her feelings grow. Girls feelings grow slower than a mans and she won't let them grow if you're too needy and she won't let them grow if you're too indifferent.

Every time you say something "meaningful" via texting it's an arrow you deliberately choose to not to hit the target with. It's wasted time and ammo. It also makes you feel "common" because every idiot is capable of texting, while very few have the willpower to reject her silly attempts to wrap you around her little finger.

Basically, it's just another compliance test: if you start texting, she'll get upset when you stop doing it. It's just another form of control. I'm aware that some guys can pull that off, but it's too easy to mess up and it doesn't really have any advantage. Low availability gives tingles and it's infinitely more useful as a tool than texting game in my opinion.

ive had two vastly different experiences with texting, and i used to always go for the texting-for-logistics-only approach

It is very contextual. The texting only for logistics advice is for a beginner trying to get the basics right. Since most blue pill rejects have a bias toward texting way too much, you see where the advice is coming from.
