But I am a little cold hearted, so if u want someone to get personal with u and help u over a few weeks or months then I'd like to help u out. So far I've helped 4 friends get a girlfriend. It's called going for what you want and being unfazed by failure. I recently discovered this. It doesn't matter what you look like, or how rich you are or how cool. 22 year old female here - I think the first thing that is getting you down is that you have a mindset of "getting a girl" - I will let you in on a secret: no matter how "unattractive" you think your figure, all that a true woman will give a shit about is how attractive your mind and personality are. I'm serious. A man can go from average to the best looking gent a woman has ever laid eyes on if you have character. I swear to you there are plenty of women that will not give a damn how much you weigh, or your height because those things are not you they are just bonuses to who the hell you are. If a woman goes for you based off your looks alone - she's not got enough in herself to make any kind of connection with. Nothing you can fix with a paragraph. You need training. I'll give you a few pointers here, but if you want the PUA lifestyle. I can usher you in. Firstly, you need practice on talking to women. You will find it's a different type of conversation with women than with men. Beginner phase, just talk to everyone. Don't be weird and just talk with them whilst gauging the moment. Second, first appearances is everything. So, look nice. Thirdly, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Now, all of these things will lose steam after few weeks. Hi. I'm a 21 year old girl. And I'm not gonna lie, nobody just ignores the looks. BUT. They also cannot ignore your personality. When your personality is shining, that's when looks take a backseat. You are working on your outer looks so that's great. Keep on working till you get the body you want. Other than that, work on your brain as well. Read a lot. Develop interests. Nothing is more interesting than a person who has a deep interest in something. Each interest of yours will open you to a different set of people. Now for conversations, confidence is the key. I know its easier said than done. But the only way to develop your confidence is "fake it till you make it." The woman does not know a thing about your insecurities (which we all have. I'm sure she has some too). If she doesn't know about them, why do you have to showcase them yourself? Learn how to socialise. Ask people questions about them and learn to listen. This is required for not just hitting on women. Everyone likes people who are charming and talk openly. And trust me anyone can be that person. I was a shy kid for so long but I forced myself to talk to everyone. When you come out of the shell, you realise that others want to talk too!

Lastly, don't be too hard on yourself. In the sense that don't think you absolutely have to get a girl. Keep on working on yourself and new relationships (friends/ acquaintances) you form. The girl will come with time.

Oh also don't worry about the height. I have dated a short guy cz I really liked him. The height issue goes away when you actually start having a nice time. That said, do keep working out and eating healthy. Not saying this is in a fat shaming manner. You will feel better and more confident with time. The whole confidence thing is not a 1-month game. It takes time. But you'll get so good at it.

EDIT: just realised you're 19. Please don't worry! You're so young. Focus on your studies as well. Nothing beats a smart guy. And you dont wanna end up being hot and not successful. Focusing a lil more on finding your interests and hobbies now that I know you're 19.

Confidence is key bro . And you don’t have much of it . But that’s ok , we can change that . Weight dosnt have much to do with it . I have found that a high percentage of gals like a heavier guy over a scrawny one . Especially right now . Lol winter is around the corner . One thing I've done is buy a couple dating/self-help books from my local Goodwill, its nice to have those to refer to. Reading them gives you the knowledge, but the real help is whenever you're feeling down, read it again and suddenly a coach is speaking to you. I recommend goodwill because I've found Dummies Dating and Idiot's guide dating for 99¢.

The hardest thing is simply to approach a girl and start a conversation. First off put yourself in a situation where that is a normal thing like a bar or a party or anything really, this is the easy part. Then you have to make the approach and actually engage in a conversation. This is the hardest part, to actually work up the courage to simply talk to her. I suffered from this for years. Take it from me, all it takes is 20 seconds to walk over, introduce yourself and start a conversation. 20 seconds of courage is all it takes man. 20 seconds to possibly change your life. I won't promise you that all of your conversations will result in anything or even go well, but with each one you'll grow a little less nervous, a little more confident, a little more charming. Always make sure to view every encounter as a positive step. Even if she blows you off completely say to your self "hey I did it! I talked to her! So what if she blew me off? I can speak to women! Getting blown off wasn't even that bad!" Do this and keep doing it, so that someday when that special girl comes into your life you'll be able to do your part.

Focus on yourself man. I'm a 20yr male and I'm in a similar situation as you. I've had one romantic relationship in my life that lasted for 6months, and that was nearly 4 years ago. If you focus on yourself and self improvement, you will be happier for it. Its not healthy to obsess on "getting a girl". Just learn to enjoy yourself first and be truly confident in who you are. Now is a bad time for everyone to meet new people/make connections. Hang in there and focus on yourself until you're ready to reach out and find people.

Yes height is a massive advantage but only if you’re hot. I’m 6”4 but ugly as fuck and not even 1 girl has ever been attracted to me because I was tall. If you’re good looking you can be technically short but as long as you’re taller than her she won’t care.

Being fat isn’t what’s unattractive to women as you can see, if you’re cute and chubby women won’t care it’s only when you’re 700lbs that it becomes a problem. You could be ugly which is a huge problem with women. The whole “self improvement” bullshit is mainly for 5/10 and up. You can do self improvement as a ugly guy but you won’t change anything in your dating life.

Not going to bullshit you like the rest. It's all based on looks and money. When chicks are young they go for guys with looks, when their done fucking around they settle for an average guy with a steady job. As most of the guys they were hooking up with in their earlier years, won't marry them. Girls know this, so they just fuck them, etc. Most average guys you see with girls are only with them because the girl is using him for something. Girls don't give a fuck about confidence, or humour. Guys with confidence get girls because they play the field, that's basically it. It's a numbers game. Also never chase a girl, if she plays hot and cold, leave. None of that bullshit if he really wanted me, he would chase me shit. Plenty of girls give it up, if the guy is hot, no chasing needed.
