It's really simple, don't spend a lot of time over analyzing or attributing pseudo science to why this is the case.

Clicking "like" online, is literally the lowest form communication that exists. If you are one of those guys, you are proving your social status as being an online loser just like all the others showing attention to a girl, that never reciprocates.

Men (and women) who value themselves, are more selective with their praise. A high value man won't shower praise, unless the other person deserves it.

Skip the online shit, and show your intention in real life. "Hi, I think you're cute. What are you up to today?"

Value yourself.

Well first of all, doing game, overanalyzing behaviors or just spending too much time on facebook is counterproductive.

With that said, I think that there is a deeper principle that you are pointing at. That is the paradox of being non-needy and non-validation seeking while at the same time pursuing the girl.

How do you get the girl to sleep with you without looking like you want to sleep with her?

While first learning game I got the basics down, be self-amused, be challenging, lead, while not being needy. I managed to convey value pretty well. Even when starting out as a hardcase newbie I got some initial attraction which was pretty stunnng at time. However, I was not really getting that many results.

Why? Because I forgot to pursue the girl. Women love feeling attractive, being followed is something that turns them on. It makes them wet when a cool guy displays their interest for them. But the point is that he has to be a guy who is non-needy, cool but still willing to show interest.

That's the true meaning of congruence. You see, failure to scalate is another form of chodeism. You are playing it cool, you are getting good reactions and attraction, but if you try to scalate you may get rejected and you may lose the good reaction and your positive state. What is that deep down? Its the fear of rejection and social anxiety, just on a different shape.

Think about it- Are you displaying your true self and desires (ie. being congruent) by not pushing it when you want to push it? Mark Manson argues that you want to be putting yourself out there as openly as you can, so that girls can reject you. A lot will, but you will also get great results and girls who will like you for you.

So, then, how do you solve the paradox? Well what I've thought is that it's good to keep a rapport-breaking mode and a non-needy attitute very strongly at first. But as soon as the girl starts giving good signals, you start scalating. When a girl is giving me strong interest (like strong eye contact, returning to me if the conversation is broken off, etc), then at that point you must begin scalating really fast.

This puts you in the frame of screening. You are watching if you can make a cool connection with the girl, and then scalating. You are congruent because you push and scalate. You are not needy because you first wait to see if the girl is behaving in your own vibe and reacting to you.

tl;dr To be good at game you need to own your desires and be non-needy. That's a paradox that holds the key to good game. I took some time to wrote this because I too struggled with this problem for some time, while getting attraction but scarse results. Hope it helped somewhat.

I think this is overthinking the whole concept of Alpha/Beta. In my opinion people have an incorrect view on what is alpha, more focusing on being a douche and exerting their own power than being a cool dude. There's so much more to it than that, most of which I have yet to learn about.

These days I've noticed that people have to be subtle and simple when trying to score a girl on social media. The real trend is sort of a 'like pong'. Where you 'like' a photo or status when she makes one and the next time you post, she will 'like' it. If this works a few more times then you can make a fair assumption that she is interested and you can start messenging/arranging a date. Fairly simple and hit or miss but less awkward for sure.

I enjoy liking friend's pics and statuses only if they are something that deserve to be liked. I'm not interested in banging them so I freely like their posts. Plus using Facebook for business I know the system of Likes Beget Likes.

I also want my followers to know what it is I like. If a profile pic is worthy and not a 1000th selfie, i would like it. However if the post is garbage I would just stay off of it.

It's a delicate game too. One girl i'm friends with is a musician. I like every one of her posts regardless because I do it to help her exposure. I'm not interested in banging her, she's a band partner. Ladies that I am interested in, i get more selective. They have plenty of other people to like their posts so I back away but if there's something I do actually like, I like it. there's been times I just comment without liking.

Facebook is just another level of a game that they have control over and can place you into compliance tests. If a girl ask's you for your Facebook just decline or say you don't have one or that your never on there. You have to take all the power and control from them and make things about you and you have to stay in control and keep the ball in your court. The moment you give them an opportunity to be in a position of power over you, you have lost it. Basically don't Facebook them unless you have enough hot girls that can "out like" your status compared to her status on the amount of guys currently commenting, "liking" and giving her attention. (when you "like" or comment a girls status that other guys are "liking" or commenting on, you have just become a pawn in her game of attention seeking and you have lost) Even with phones if they call you or text you, it better only be about how your going to see them again. But most of all keep the ball in your court and don't give them any unnecessary attention. Your attention is like their vagina, are you just going to give it up for free?

I dont bother liking stuff. Unless its really extraordinary, and even then, id like a friends, or even a guys more than I would a girl. I know girls get more likes so my one wouldnt matter.

But then again, while the trend is that alphas dont like as much, its still significant that some of them do like hot girls stuff every so often(my friends list). They obviously dont do thirsty/cringey shit but sometimes they do compliment them. But its hard to say if they are really "alpha" or they just act/seem that way to me.

I have never had trouble getting women. I have only had issues finding quality women. So I just focus on my shit, and the women will come to me as they always do.
