Not a dig but just curious, saw you've been posting about getting started on approaching and going for 18-22s for past 6+ months. Have you approached any?

At 35 I got divorced. Had only been with 3 ppl including my ex wife. So I went through a straight up hoe phase for about a year. I hooked up with dozens and not like one or two dozen. Literally so many I dont remeber them all now. Strictly in the 18-27ish age range. The one 18 year old did make me feel creepy after. So didn't go after anyone below 20 after that. But I digress.

If you can read and be articulate online dating is like shooting fish in a barrel. Read every bit of info they put on their profiles. Message with more than one line and include something that ties into what they wrote about themselves. Do this 6 times a night before bed. Youll hear back from 2 usually. One being polite because you made an effort and one who is willing to go on a date and/or hookup. Also choose good pics of yourself. Seriously, you only swipe on pics that look attractive they do too. Other guys have set the bar so low on effort that actually bothering to read and reply makes you stand out.

Things not to do; do not mention virginity on your profile. Tell them in person once you are on dates. You play it right and itll make you seem like you are open and vulnerable but in a good way. Someone is gonna want to help you correct it. I dont know why but do not compliment anyone online. Trial and error. While some girls are receptive, most will shut you down after you compliment them. Once in person its cool, just read the room. Instead get them to talk about their interests and find a way your life ties into something they enjoy or talk about wanting to get into something they enjoy. Maybe they can show you the ropes?

Dating sucks. Sex is great but after a little over a year of that I was so ready to not be a hoe anymore. Dont regret it either though. Good luck.

M40 here, never cared about age gap, since I've never dated or travelled, never had a girlfriend.

My years, mostly gaming, streaming, reading books, heavy metal blaring from my headphones, had a decent job here or there, stepped out ocassionally so forth. Never had a social life.

Mostly confined to myself while other people my age with purpose, ambition build great careers, social circle, dating game.

Now I regret my life choices and it's hurting real bad.

hookup with women who want to hook up- irrespective of age. there are women around 18-22 who are interested in a committed relationships, even though they're aware it's unlikely for older men to take them seriously. so 18-22 year olds who are like that feel stuck in a limbo. it's a weird age to be in. you want to date, but fear being rushed and/or being coerced- there's a frenzy going around where everyone assumes they're the only ones not hooking up and/or without a boyfriend. which you realise later on is not the case. of course, there are women around that age who wish to explore sexually and go wild, but don't assume everyone around that age did or does. around that age, most guys i knew were with older women. some had girlfriends our age and had hookup with older women if the girlfriends weren't ready for intimacy and were inexperienced. there's nothing wrong with age gaps, as long as you're both consenting adults who communicate effectively and freely without any hesitations or inhibitions.

Women like older men. The caveat being that 'older' (in that sense) is meant to represent emotional maturity, confidence, masculinity, etc.

Most people don't embody positive physiological habits - they just 'age' while staying in their lane, not 'mature' while growing and adapting. Which, to be frank, is where you find yourself.

The actual 'age gap' isn't a problem whatsoever - it would just hit a bit harder if you get 'AMOGged' by some guy 10 years younger than you. That sense you "wasted time" would slap you in the face in that instance.

The good thing is that people are different, they have different personalities and characters, and this means that for certain 18-22 girls, age doesn't matter at all. You need to be the right man at the right place, meaning going to lower-level venues (I guess you know a few places like this in your city), and very importantly, don't be picky because in such places, you will only find a certain type of women, it's clear that a decent woman with her head on her shoulders will not enter such a venue. So, if you're looking for a classy woman, this isn't the right place. Besides, there's a very low chance that a 20 yo classy woman would mess with a guy much older than her....they have a certain status, they have high standards it is clear they will look for someone similar to them (not necesary age if you have a high status).

Don't feel too bad, a lot of people never experience that young love in adolescence. The first time I ever felt I loved somebody and fell head over heels, I was like 26 and it ended horribly...I don't really look back on it that fondly, it's just easy to yearn for what you don't have.

For age gaps, it's tricky and a hot topic currently. I personally, wouldn't seriously date somebody with a significant age gap, and I've tried, it just doesn't work ime. I think it's fair game for hooking up and casual things, but yeah...

If you're going to date somebody much younger than you than be ready for judgement.
