A friend told me this amazing tip today. Turn off the text tone for your phone. This is especially useful to guys who have just started out- and tend to reply instantly (which is a no-no, because it shows you have nothing better to do). Anything important will probably be in the form of a phone call (ex: emergencies). This way, you can just occasionally check on your phone when you have some spare time, instead of pausing and checking it everytime you hear a beep. Hopefully this helps some of you, I know it did for me :)
