I did this a month ago. She told me she likes words of affirmation (which I don’t really do) and loves when guys make their intentions known.

I went against everything I have learned and told her I am interested in her at the end of the date.

Completely backfired. Don’t listen to women, stay true to what we learned.

You didn't blow it at all. Unless you've been incessantly texting since the date.

Give it three days after the date and reach out and tell her you had a really nice time and you'd love to see her again and ask if she's free anytime soon to meet up again. Set the next date about a week after the first date.

Repeat spacing out messaging and dating until she starts reaching out to you first and then use that opportunity to set the next date or meetup

Never forget that while men are (generally) after sex first and foremost, women are after the knowledge that they “got you hooked” (until it happens ofc, in which case they usually dip).

Don’t stress. Put yourself in the friendzone mind frame - by this I mean you put HER in the friendzone.

There’s 2 advantages to this: 1 - you didn’t ’lose’ anything and if she responds later, you’ve given her time to get over what she needs to get over. 2 - making her chase you is a powerful motivator.

Work on your follow up game.

Pick a topic you both liked and drop her a text about it and shut up.

I.e. just got (console game) and had a few friends over - it’s waay better than I thought it would be.

Shut up and don’t respond right away if she replies.

Wait a week or so and hit her with another text about something different.

When she calls, don’t ask her out - cut the thread early. ‘Hey I got a call coming in I was waiting on - got to go’ then drop the call.

MAKE HER CHASE YOU.

Also recognize she isn’t the One. The One is the girl you don’t have to chase or work hard for - it’s easy. My ‘One’ called me <12 hrs later and we talked for 3 hours even before we went on our Day 2. When we went on our Day 2 about 20 of the guys who organized the event (Fest in Chicago where they roped off a huge area for BBQ) thought she and I had been dating for years.
